Marcelo Muñoz and Gabriel Vigliesoni left the band shortly before the recording of the album Amanece in early 2000. Eduardo Caces (bass) joined shortly after, becoming a permanent member of the band ever since. Francisco Gonzalez then left in 2005, leading to the immediate arrival of Cote Foncea (drums), of the now defunct Chilean rock band Dracma. In the wake of these inner turmoils, the band managed to issue their fifth studio album "Lúmina", which displayed the new direction the band was taking - a rawer guitar-driven sound, moving away from the previous programmed and synth-friendly tunes. A year earlier the EP "Sálvame la Vida" was the prelude to this evolution, it included the first "Lúmina" single along with some cover songs released in tribute albums and a contribution to a movie soundtrack. The group, currently composed of Valenzuela, Caces and Foncea, recently signed with Warner Mexico and released their most recent work, "Comiendo Fuego". At the end of the year 2007, the band recorded by their own means the EP "Primitivo", following the "do it yourself" indie music aesthetics.

Los Bukis are a Mexican Grupero band from Ario de Rosales, Michoacan. In 1973, the band was founded by cousins Marco Antonio Solís and Joel Solís. Their first song was Falso Amor and its style became popular throughout Latin America. Marco Antonio wrote the songs; the album "Me Volvi a Acordar de Ti" in the year of 1986 sold one million records in just a few weeks after its launch, earning the album "diamond" status. He also wrote and produced albums for artists such as Marisela, Rocío Dúrcal, Beatriz Adriana, Lucero, El Pegasso de Emilio Reyna, and María Sorté.
Virus is an Argentine new wave music band founded in 1979, led by Federico Moura until his death on December 21, 1988, from AIDS-related complications. His brother Marcelo then became lead singer, until the band gave its final performance on September 29, 1990, in a support slot to David Bowie. Virus reunited in 1994 and has had some sporadic activity, without recovering its previous popularity. Their latest album, Caja Negra (2006) features live versions of their classics, together with five new studio tracks, with invited artists influenced by the band: Ale Sergi (Miranda!), Adrián Dárgelos (Babasónicos), Pity Álvarez (Intoxicados) and Ciro Pertusi.
