Luxley is a village in the southwest Midlands of England, on the border between Gloucestershire and Herefordshire near May Hill.

Luxley is 12 km (7.5 mi) southeast of Ross-on-Wye and 18 km (11 mi) west of Gloucester.

The name has a number of variations. Victorian maps show Luxtre while current place names include Luxtree Farm and Upper Laxtree.

The Bristol Harbour Railway was a standard-gauge industrial railway that served the wharves and docks of Bristol, England. The line, which had a network of approximately 5 mi (8.0 km) of track, connected the Floating Harbour to the GWR mainline at Bristol Temple Meads. Freight could be transported directly by waggons to Paddington Station in London. The railway officially closed in 1964.

Loughborough Inlet is one of the lesser principal inlets of the British Columbia Coast. It penetrates the Coast Mountains on the north side of the Discovery Islands archipelago, running about 35 km (22 mi) from its head at the mouth of the Stafford River to Chancellor Channel and Cordero Channel, which are on the north side of West Thurlow Island. A further 14 km (8.7 mi) west along Chancellor Channel is Johnstone Strait.
