The MBC Plus X Genie Music Awards (abbreviated as MGA) is a major music awards show that is held annually in South Korea and organized by MBC Plus and Genie Music. [1]
South Korea, officially the Republic of Korea (ROK), is a country in East Asia, constituting the southern part of the Korean Peninsula and lying to the east of the Asian mainland. The name Korea is derived from Goguryeo which was one of the great powers in East Asia during its time, ruling most of the Korean Peninsula, Manchuria, parts of the Russian Far East and Inner Mongolia, under Gwanggaeto the Great. MBC Plus is a South Korean company under MBC, producing media, broadcast and telecommunication products for non free-to-air networks, including Skylife and 'Cable TV' (KCTA) service providers. Corporate slogan is "Let's plus!".
Genie Music (Hangul: 지니뮤직), a subsidiary of KT Corporation, is a South Korean company that specializes in the production and distribution of music content. Its music streaming service is the second most used in South Korea with 2.5 million subscribers as of June 2018.

Jaurim is a rock band from Seoul, South Korea. They had performed in the indie scene before 1997, and became major with their first released single 'Hey Hey Hey'. They have released ten full-length albums, three unofficial albums, two original soundtrack singles, one original soundtrack EP, and one concert album. Their ninth full-length album, 'goodbye, grief', was released on October 14, 2013. The band is praised for their arrangements, and singer Kim Yoon-ah is often praised for her singing abilities and lyrics. Their drummer, Goo Tae-hoon has run a major live club in Korea, 'Soundholic', since 2003; as well as the record label of the same name.

Jung Seung-hwan is a South Korean singer signed under Antenna. He is best known as the runner-up contestant in SBS' K-pop Star Season 4. He made his debut in November 2016 with the EP His Voice.

The original Korean version was released by Big Hit on October 2, 2016, in South Korea. "Love Scenario" is a song recorded by the South Korean boy group iKON. It was released as the lead single from iKON's second studio album, Return. The song holds the record for the most weeks at number one on the Gaon Digital Chart, spending six weeks at the top in early 2018. The song won "Song of the Year" in the 2018 Melon Music Awards and 33rd Golden Disc Awards. It is recognized as one of iKON’s signature songs.
