MEL&NYC festival was a cultural festival in Melbourne, Australia in 2018. [1] [2] [3] [4]

It was sponsored by the Victorian Government, and involved community programming from various Australian arts organisations. [5]

Noteworthy performers at the festival included Ilana Glazer, Ronan Farrow, and Momofuku. [1]

State tourism Martin Foley was involved in organising the event.

Lost Kings are an American DJ duo consisting of Robert Abisi and Nick Shanholtz, based in Los Angeles. The duo gained popularity beginning in 2014 through their official remixes for artists such as Imagine Dragons, Krewella, Halsey, Vance Joy, Echosmith, Rihanna, and Tori Kelly, and through their original progressive house music. Peter Knight is an Australian musician, composer and stockbroker. He is the artistic director of the Australian Art Orchestra and founding member of Melbourne group Way Out West., 5+2 Brass Ensemble and Clocked Out.

The Australian Art Orchestra (AAO) is one of Australia's leading contemporary ensembles. Founded by pianist Paul Grabowsky in 1994, it has been led by composer/trumpeter/sound artist Peter Knight since 2013 and led by pianist/composer/producer Aaron Choulai since 2023. The Orchestra explores relationships between musical disciplines and cultures, imagining new musical concepts that reference how 21st century Australia responds to its cultural and musical history.

Ensemble Offspring is an Australian music ensemble. The group is led by artistic director Claire Edwardes, and features some of Australia's most innovative performers. The group has toured to locations such as Hong Kong, London and Warsaw, are regularly featured at MONA FOMA, Sydney and Melbourne Festivals, and have a cult following at their Sizzle series at Petersham Bowling Club. Ensemble Offspring has premiered over 200 works in its 23-year history. The ensemble was previously known as Spring Ensemble.
