MI-Connection now Continuum (pronounced My Connection, Continue um) is the locally owned and operated cable and Internet system serving the towns of Mooresville, Davidson and Cornelius and Huntersville in the counties of Mecklenburg and Iredell in North Carolina (M for Mecklenburg, I for Iredell)
MI-Connection was created after the towns of Mooresville, Davidson, and Cornelius agreed to buy-out the local cable system from Time Warner Cable after the Adelphia cable acquisition in 2007.

Iredell County is a county located in the U.S. state of North Carolina. As of the 2020 census, the population was 186,693. Its county seat is Statesville, and its largest town is Mooresville. The county was formed in 1788, subtracted from Rowan County. It is named for James Iredell, one of the first justices of the Supreme Court of the United States. Iredell County is included in the Charlotte–Concord–Gastonia, NC–SC Metropolitan Statistical Area, as defined in 2013 by the Office of Management and Budget with data from the U.S. Census Bureau.
Mooresville is a large town located in the southwestern section of Iredell County, North Carolina, United States, and is a part of the fast-growing Charlotte metropolitan area. The population was 50,193 at the 2020 United States Census making it the largest municipality in Iredell County. It is located approximately 25 miles (40 km) north of Charlotte.

The town was founded in 1837 with the establishment of the Presbyterian Davidson College, named for Brigadier General William Lee Davidson, a local Revolutionary War hero. The land for Davidson College came from Davidson's estate, a large portion of which was donated by his son.

The I-77 Bus Rapid Transit is a proposed bus rapid transit (BRT) service, connecting the towns northern Mecklenburg and southern Iredell counties to Uptown Charlotte, North Carolina. The BRT replaces the previously planned commuter rail service, the Lynx Red Line, that was routed along the existing Norfolk Southern O-Line right-of-way. However, several issues had arisen that included ineligibility for federal funding and Norfolk Southern refusal to allow access to its right-of-way. In 2019, after a reevaluation of the entire corridor, the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) decided to move forward with BRT and shelve the commuter rail; which had been met with frustration by various city leaders and residents impacted by it.
Mount Mourne is an unincorporated community in Iredell County, North Carolina, United States. Mount Mourne is located on North Carolina Highway 115, 3.5 miles (5.6 km) southwest of Mooresville. The Mount Mourne post office was originally established on April 5, 1805 with James Houston as postmaster. It has been in continuous operation since 1805 and currently has a ZIP code of 28123. The community was named by early settlers after Mourne Mountains in Northern Ireland. Rufus Reid (1787-1854) built the Mount Mourne Plantation in Mount Mourne in 1836. It is still standing.
Cornelius House is a historic home located near Mooresville, Iredell County, North Carolina. The house was built about 1825, and is a tripartite Federal style, "T"-shaped frame dwelling with a two-story central section flanked by one-story wings. It has a gable roof, fieldstone foundation, and a single shouldered brick end chimneys.
