Stena Line

Stena Line is a Swedish shipping line company and one of the largest ferry operators in the world. It services Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Latvia, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden and the United Kingdom, Stena Line is a major unit of Stena AB, itself a part of the Stena Sphere. Stena Line also owns the Swedish vessels of the otherwise German and Danish owned Scandlines.

KiwiRail, the operator of the Interislander service, bought the Kaitaki in 2017.

MS <i>King Seaways</i>

MS King Seaways is a cruiseferry operated and owned by the Danish shipping company DFDS Seaways on a route connecting North Shields, effectively the port of Newcastle upon Tyne,, England to IJmuiden in the Netherlands. She was built in 1987 as MS Nils Holgersson by Seebeckwerft, Bremerhaven, West Germany for TT-Line. Between 1993 and 2006 the ship was named MV Val de Loire, owned by Brittany Ferries and used on traffic across the English Channel. A DFDS vessel since 2006, she was originally named MS King of Scandinavia, before being given her current name in 2011.

MS <i>Princess Seaways</i>

MS Princess Seaways is a cruiseferry operated and owned by the Danish shipping company DFDS Seaways on a route connecting North Shields, England, to IJmuiden in the Netherlands. She was built in 1986 as Peter Pan by Seebeckwerft, Bremerhaven, Germany for TT-Line. Between 1993 and 2002, the ship was operated by TT-Line Company of Tasmania under the name Spirit of Tasmania a service across the Bass Strait. In 2002, the ship was sold to Fjord Line and renamed Fjord Norway for service from Denmark. In 2006, she was sold to DFDS Seaways and sailed as Princess of Norway before being given her current name in 2011.

MS <i>Stena Baltica</i> (2005)

MSStena Baltica is a RoPax ferry, owned by Stena Line and planned to operate on the Baltic Sea between Nynäshamn, Sweden and Ventspils, Latvia. The ship previously operated on the Irish Sea, between Birkenhead and Belfast, as Stena Mersey.

MS Stena Scandinavica was a car/passenger ferry built in 1974 by Titovo Brodogradiliste in Kraljevica, Yugoslavia for Stena Line. Between 1978–1981 the ship sailed for Irish Ferries as Saint Killian. In 1981–1982 the ship was lengthened by 32.10 m at Amsterdamsche Droogdok Maatschaapij in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Subsequently, she was renamed Saint Killian II and remained in Irish Ferries service until 1997.

MS <i>GNV Cristal</i>

MS GNV Cristal is a cruiseferry owned by the Italy-based SNAV and operated by their Grandi Navi Veloci brand. She was built in 1989 by Schichau Seebeckwerft in Bremerhaven, West Germany as MS Olau Hollandia for Olau Line. From 1994 to 2005 she sailed as MS Pride of Le Havre for P&O ferries. From 2005 to 2017 she operated as the SNAV Sardegna between Civitavecchia, Palermo and Olbia.

MS <i>SNAV Adriatico</i>

MS SNAV Adriatico operating under the Ferry Xpress Panama line is a roll-on/roll-off ferry currently operated by Grandi Navi Veloci. She used to be owned by Stena Line and operated on the Karlskrona - Gdynia service. She was built in 1986 by Van der Giessen de Noord as MS Koningin Beatrix for SMZ. In 1989 she passed under Stena Line's ownership and in 2002 was renamed Stena Baltica. In 2013 she was sold to SNAV. On October 23, 2014, Snav leased the ship to Panamanian company Ferry Xpress Panama to start operations on the Colon - Cartagena - Colon and Colon - Bocas del Toro - Colon routes. Since 2015 is operated by Trasmediterránea, and is currently rent by Grandi Navi Veloci to serve on the Naples-Palermo route.

MS <i>GNV Atlas</i>

The GNV Atlas is a Peter Pan-class cruiseferry currently owned and operated by the Italian shipping company SNAV. She was launched on 28 October 1989 by Schichau Seebeckwerft in Bremerhaven, West Germany as Olau Britannia for Olau Line.

MV Volcán de Tacande was a ferry last owned by Naviera Armas, which was operated on routes around the Canary Islands. She was built by Brodogradiliste Jozo Lozovina Mosor, Togir, Yugoslavia in 1974 for Stena Ab, Göteborg as a roll-on roll-off car and commercial vehicle ferry, under the name Stena Nordica. It was launched on 17 June 1973.

MV <i>Regent Sky</i>

MV Regent Sky was an unfinished cruise ship that travelled to several locations during her incomplete construction. She was initially being built in Poland as the cruise ferry Stena Baltica, one of four sister ships planned for the Stena Line. Still incomplete, she was purchased by Regency Cruises and moved to Greece, but her new owners filed for bankruptcy in 1995.

MS <i>Rigel II</i>

Rigel II is a cruiseferry owned and operated by Greek shipping company Ventouris Ferries. The vessel sailed overnight between the Polish city of Gdańsk and Nynäshamn in Sweden. Rigel II is the first of two sister ships built. The second vessel currently operates for SNAV as SNAV Toscana.

MV <i>Speedlink Vanguard</i>

Speedlink Vanguard was a 3,514 GRT train ferry which was built in 1973 as Stena Shipper. She was charted to a New Zealand operator on completion and renamed Union Wellington and saw further service as Alpha Express and Stena Shipper before entering service with Sealink as Speedlink Vanguard. The ship was involved in a collision with European Gateway in 1982, which sank the latter ship with the loss of six lives.
