MTV The Lair is a live television show aired on MTV Australia which showcases unsigned and breaking artists as well as high-profile international acts.
It was announced at the end of 2006 that MTV would launch a new live show in 2007 called MTV's The Lair which will air live every Thursday at The Metro Theatre in Sydney. [1] The show launched on 26 January 2007.

Evanescence is an American rock band founded in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1995 by singer and musician Amy Lee and guitarist Ben Moody. After recording independent albums, the band released their first full-length album, Fallen, on Wind-up Records in 2003. On the strength of hit singles "Bring Me to Life" and "My Immortal", Fallen sold more than 17 million copies worldwide, and won the band two Grammy Awards out of six nominations. A year later, Evanescence released their first live album, Anywhere but Home, which sold over one million copies worldwide.

The Metro Theatre is a music venue located on George Street, in the city centre of Sydney, Australia. The venue was redeveloped, from two former cinemas, by property developer Leon Fink.
The Open Door is the second studio album by American rock band Evanescence, released on September 25, 2006, by Wind-up Records. The album was initially set to be released in March 2006, but was postponed as a result of guitarist Terry Balsamo's stroke, the loss of the band's former manager, and Will Boyd's and Ben Moody's departure from the group. The record symbolizes a new beginning for the band, incorporating new elements into their previous musical styles, including symphonic metal, as well as the use of choirs on several songs. The writing process for the album took over 18 months to complete; most of the songs were written by Amy Lee and Terry Balsamo, while production was handled by Dave Fortman.
"Call Me When You're Sober" is a song by American rock band Evanescence recorded for their second studio album, The Open Door. Wind-up Records released it as the album's lead single on September 4, 2006; this release was preceded by the song's Internet leak and its earlier distribution to radio stations on July 31. The track was written by group members Amy Lee and Terry Balsamo, while Dave Fortman handled its production. Lee revealed that the song was inspired by an unsuccessful relationship with Shaun Morgan, lead singer of the band Seether. The track is an alternative metal, symphonic rock, and electropop piano ballad about a woman terminating a relationship with a love interest who suffers from an addiction.
Timothy Todd McCord is an American musician, best known as a member of the American rock band Evanescence. He replaced bassist Will Boyd who left the band in mid-2006, and remained in this position until 2022 when he switched to guitar. Previously, McCord was best known for playing guitar for the band The Revolution Smile from 2000 to 2004. McCord is also a member of the Japanese music label, Brave Wave Productions. McCord has two children through his wife, Danielle: Maddie and Declan. He also has three stepchildren, Alyssa Adrian and Jeffrey.
Granddance is the second album by Australian band Dappled Cities Fly, released in 2006. The album was recorded at Sunset Sound, Sanora Recorders and New Monkey Studios in Los Angeles in July 2006 and produced by Jim Fairchild (Grandaddy) and Peter Walker. Guests on the album include Mark Bradshaw on keyboards and Bjorn Baillie, Peter Walker, and Jim Fairchild on vocals.
Amy Lynn Hartzler is an American musician, singer and songwriter. She is the co-founder, lead vocalist, and sole constant member of the rock band Evanescence. Alongside her contributions with the band, Lee has also participated on other musical projects, including Nightmare Revisited and Muppets: The Green Album, composed the soundtrack to the films War Story (2014) and Indigo Grey: The Passage (2015) with cellist Dave Eggar, and the song "Speak to Me" for the film Voice from the Stone (2017). "Sweet Sacrifice" is a song by American rock band Evanescence released on May 25th, 2007, as the third single from their second studio album, The Open Door. It was written by Amy Lee and Terry Balsamo while the production was handled by Dave Fortman. "All That I'm Living For" was initially planned to be the third single, as announced at live concerts and online. However, due to requests from the band and fan reaction, Wind-up reconsidered its release and announced that "Sweet Sacrifice" would be the band's third single from The Open Door. Evanescence's lead singer Amy Lee wrote the song about the abusive relationship that inspired all of the songs on the group's debut record, Fallen (2003).
Skunk Fu! is an Irish animated television series featuring the fables of anthropomorphic animals protecting their valley using martial arts. The show chronicles the adventures of young Skunk, training with his Kung Fu master, Panda, with the support of Rabbit, Fox, Turtle, and others, who directly, or inadvertently, also help Skunk grow. The show won the IFTA award for "Best Animation". In addition to an English soundtrack, Irish-language, French-language, Japanese-language, and Dutch-language soundtracks were initially produced.
