Madeleine Plamondon (born September 21,1931) is a Canadian retired Senator and consumer advocate specializing in financial services,privacy,and rights of the elderly.
She has headed the Service d'aide au consommateur in Shawinigan,Quebec,since its foundation in 1974 and has also been active with the Financial Services OmbudsNetwork,the Bureau des services financiers (Quebec) and the Association des courtiers et agents immobiliers du Québec.
In September 2003,Plamondon was appointed to the Senate by Prime Minister Jean Chrétien who is a fellow resident of Shawinigan. She sits as an independent Senator. She retired from the Upper House on September 21,2006,when she attained the mandatory retirement age of 75.

The Saint-Maurice River flows north to south in central Quebec from Gouin Reservoir to empty into the Saint Lawrence River at Trois-Rivières, in the province of Quebec, in Canada. From its source at Gouin Reservoir, located at the same latitude as the Lac Saint-Jean, the river has a total drop of about 405 metres (1,329 ft), to finally reach the St. Lawrence river at Trois-Rivières. The river is 563 km long and has a drainage basin of 43,300 square kilometres (16,700 sq mi). Saint-Maurice River is one of the most important tributaries of the St. Lawrence River.

It was released on 4 November 1991 by Sony Music and features songs with words written by French-Canadian lyricist, Luc Plamondon. Route 157 is a four-lane north–south highway on the north shore of the Saint Lawrence River in Quebec, Canada. Its northern terminus is in Shawinigan at the junction of Route 153, and the southern terminus is at the junction of Route 138 in Cap-de-la-Madeleine, now part of Trois-Rivières.
