Boeun County (Boeun-gun) is a county in North Chungcheong Province, South Korea.
Cheongdo County (Cheongdo-gun) is a county in North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. It is connected to the national transportation grid by the Gyeongbu Line railroad and the Daegu-Busan Expressway. The seat of government is located in the center of the county, in Hwayang-eup.
Chilgok County (Chilgok-gun) is located at south-west part of North Gyeongsang Province. It is close by Gunwi County, Daegu Metropolitan city on the east while adjoins with Gimchon-si, Seongju County on the west. It is also a transportation hub where the Nakdong river flows through and an Urban-Farming complex that adjoins with Gumi City and Daegu Metropolitan city.

Seongju County (Seongju-gun) is a county in North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. This largely agricultural area is located immediately west of the metropolitan city of Daegu. The capital of the county is the town of Seongju.

Daegu Arts University is a South Korean private university specializing in training for the fine arts. Its campus is located a short distance north of Daegu metropolitan city, in Gasan-myeon of Chilgok County, North Gyeongsang province. About 35 instructors are employed. The current president is Lee Seong-geun (이성근).
Dasan-myeon is a subdivision of Goryeong County, Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea, in the county's northeast. It is composed of ten ri. Dasan-myeon looks across the Nakdong River at Daegu, and also borders Seongju County to the north. To the south it is bounded by Goryeong's Seongsan-myeon. A largely rural district, Dasan-myeon is home to about 7,400 people living on 46 square kilometers.
The name Seowoncheon is also applied to the portion of the Jungnangcheon which separates Seoul from Gyeonggi Province.
Iseo-myeon can refer to three different myeon in South Korea:
Iseo-myeon is a myeon, or township, in western Cheongdo County, Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea. It borders Daegu on the north. It is connected to both Daegu and central Cheongdo by Local Highway 30, which crosses under the Paljoryeong pass as it descends from Daegu to its terminus in Gangnam-myeon. Iseo-myeon is composed of 17 ri.
Paljoryeong is a mountain pass in southeastern South Korea, lying between the peaks of Bonghwasan and Sangwonsan, which are both slightly over 660 meters high. The pass itself is slightly less than 400 metres (1,300 ft) above sea level. It lies on the border of modern-day Daegu metropolitan city and Cheongdo, Gyeongsangbuk-do province. At one time it was the major overland route between Daegu and the region to its south. The north side of the pass is in Daegu, in Gachang-myeon, Dalseong-gun. The south side is in Cheongdo's Iseo-myeon.
The Yeongnam Alps are a outlying range of the Taebaek Mountains. They consist of a group of relatively tall mountains in the Yeongnam region of southeastern South Korea. They are much shorter than the European Alps, only slightly over 1000 m. The term is sometimes restricted to those peaks exceeding 1000 m in height, but may be informally extended to lower peaks in the same region.
Dalseong County (Dalseong-gun) is a gun occupying much of south and western Daegu, South Korea. A largely rural district lying along the Nakdong River, it makes up nearly half of Daegu's total area. It is divided in half by a narrow piece of Dalseo-gu that reaches west to the river.
Gachang-myeon is a myeon, or township in rural southeastern Daegu, South Korea. Part of Dalseong County, it is separated from the urban center of Daegu by the ridgelines of Yongjibong and Apsan. These two mountains are separated by the narrow valley of the Sincheon, a tributary of the Nakdong which drains most of the township. The valley of the Sincheon also hosts the only roads that connect Gachang to central Daegu.
Unmun-myeon is a myeon, or township, in Cheongdo County, North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. It is the easternmost township in Cheongdo.
Geumcheon-myeon is a myeon, or township, in eastern Cheongdo County, North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. Geumcheon-myeon is composed of 10 subdivisions known as ri.
