Los Bukis are a Mexican grupero band. Formed in Ario de Rosales, Michoacán in 1973, the band's current lineup consists of singer and songwriter Marco Antonio Solís, Joel Solís (guitars), José Javier Solís (congas/percussion), Pedro Sánchez (drums), Roberto Guadarrama (trumpet), José "Pepe" Guadarrama and Eusebio "El Chivo" Cortéz (bass).

"En El Jardín" is a song written by Kike Santander and performed by Mexican recording artist Alejandro Fernández. It was co-produced by Santander and Emilio Estefan and features Cuban-American singer Gloria Estefan. It was released as the second single from Me Estoy Enamorando by Sony Music Mexico in 1997. The song is a pop ballad and portrays both singers falling in love, as if the love blossomed from a garden. A music video featuring both artists was made for the track.

Eva María Muñoz Ruíz, known professionally as Evita Muñoz "Chachita", was a Mexican actress and comedian. Her professional career began in 1941, when she was only four years old, and she continued performing through, and contributing to, the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. Muñoz was still four years old when she played the character Chachita in her second film, ¡Ay, Jalisco, no te rajes! (1941), and went on to play Chachita in eight more films and numerous television roles over the subsequent decades, and would be credited as Eva Muñoz "Chachita" in other appearances. For more than 75 years, "Chachita" was recognized as a successful artist in cinema, television, theater, radio, nightclub and circus shows.

The Barrio Boyzz were an American Latin pop group. The group was made up of Puerto Ricans who grew up in New York City. They gained popularity during the 1990s, when they became label-mates with Selena then landed their first Billboard number-one song entitled "Donde Quiera Que Estés" in 1993, from the album of the same name.
Kairo was a Mexican pop vocal group established in 1993 as a trio made up of Paul Forat, Francisco Zorrilla and Eduardo Verástegui, a future actor and politician. As members left, starting with Verástegui in 1996, they were replaced with others like Gabriel Soto and Roberto Assad, who both joined in 1997, and Paulo César Quevedo in 1998. The band folded in 1999.

She was married to a pioneer of Mexican radio, television and film, Luis de Llano Palmer, by whom she had two children, Julissa, an actress and musician, and Luis de Llano Macedo, renowned telenovela producer. She also was instrumental in bringing many works of international writers to the Mexican stage.
"El Destino" is a song by Mexican singer Juan Gabriel and Spanish songstress Rocío Dúrcal from their collaboration album Juntos Otra Vez. It was released as the lead single from the album on 31 March 1997. "El Destino" was nominated in the category of Pop Song of the Year at the 10th Annual Lo Nuestro Awards in 1998, but lost to "Si Tú Supieras" by Alejandro Fernández. The track won Song of the Year on the Pop/Ballad field at the 1998 ASCAP Latin Awards.
"No Sé Tú" is a song written and performed by Mexican singer-songwriter Armando Manzanero, released from his studio album, Cariñosamente (1986). A popular bolero song, the lyrics describe the protagonist unable to stop thinking about his lover. Manzanero re-recorded "No Sé Tú" as a duet with Francisco Céspedes on Manzanero's album Duetos (2001). It was listed among Manzanero's best songs by an editor for BBC Mundo.
