The 2005 Magog municipal election was held on November 6, 2005, to elect a mayor and councillors in the city of Magog, Quebec. Marc Poulin was re-elected to a third term as mayor without opposition.

In many countries, a mayor is the highest-ranking official in a municipal government such as that of a city or a town.

Magog is a city in southeastern Quebec, Canada, about 120 kilometres (75 mi) east of Montreal at the confluence of Lake Memphremagog—after which the city was named—with the Rivière aux Cerises and the Magog River. It is a major centre and industrial city in the Regional County Municipality of Memphremagog. The city lies in the Eastern Townships tourist region.

Magog Township is a former township in the Canadian province of Quebec. It was amalgamated into the city of Magog in 2002.

Sherbrooke is a city in southern Quebec, Canada. Sherbrooke is situated at the confluence of the Saint-François and Magog rivers in the heart of the Estrie administrative region. Townshippers' Association is a non-partisan, non-profit organization mandated to support the rights of English-speaking people in the historical Eastern Townships region of the Canadian province of Quebec. It is known in French as the Association des Townshippers. The association has its head office in Lennoxville and a branch office in Knowlton.
