Mark Frauenfelder is a blogger, illustrator, and journalist. He was editor-in-chief of the magazine MAKE and is co-owner of the collaborative weblog Boing Boing. Along with his wife, Carla Sinclair, he founded the Boing Boing print zine in 1988, where he acted as co-editor until the print version folded in 1997. There his work was discovered by Billy Idol, who consulted Frauenfelder for his Cyberpunk album. While designing Boing Boing and co-editing it with Sinclair, Frauenfelder became an editor at Wired from 1993–1998 and the "Living Online" columnist for Playboy magazine from 1998 to 2002. He is the co-editor of The Happy Mutant Handbook, and was the author and illustrator of Mad Professor. He is the author and illustrator of World's Worst and The Computer: An Illustrated History. He is the author of Rule the Web: How to Do Anything and Everything on the Internet—Better, Faster, Easier, and Made by Hand. He was interviewed on the Colbert Report in March 2007 and in June 2010.
Mahalo Air was an airline that provided inter-island service within the state of Hawaii between 1993 and 1997. The airline started service on October 4, 1993, using Fokker F27 turboprop aircraft operated by Empire Airlines while awaiting its own certification. On May 31, 1994, the agreement with Empire ran out, shutting down the airline. In October of that year, the airline resumed operations with its own certificate, using new ATR-42 turboprops. During the summer of 1997, the airline filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, and ceased operations on September 2. The airline was headquartered in Honolulu.

It peaked at #1 on the Billboard chart in the spring of the same year. Despite the satellite innovation, the US did not air the concert until April 4. It differentiated itself from algorithmic search engines like Google and Ask.com, as well as other directory sites like DMOZ and Yahoo! by tracking and building hand-crafted result sets for many of the currently popular search terms. Rene Paulo is an American pianist. Born in the rural district of Schofield, Paulo grew up in Wahiawa, Hawaii. His grandparents on his mother's side were from the Philippines, becoming naturalized US citizens after his grandfather joined the US military. Rene's musical background is in classical music, and he studied briefly at the Juilliard School of Music in New York with Lonnie Epstein and Gerald Tracy. He soon branched out into improvisation, listening to jazz pianists such as Art Tatum, Alec Templeton, Fats Waller, Earl "Fatha" Hines, and boogie woogie styles. He is known as "Hawaii's Favorite and Most Famous Pianist" and has been invited repeatedly to perform in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Tokyo. Paulo played with famous artists like Alfred Apaka, Hilo Hattie, Don Ho and Sandii. He has played music at a church in Kapolei, Hawaii that was founded by Pastor Danny Yamashiro and is the father of cosmopolitan and versatile saxophonist Michael Paulo.
