The Mahoning Valley Wildcats (sometimes referred to as the Youngstown Wildcats), were a team in the International Basketball League based in Struthers, Ohio. The team shared its name with the mascot of Struthers High School, whose gym they shared.
Rob Spon coached the Wildcats, who went 12-7 in their first season. The Wildcats were led in scoring by Rick McFadden, who tied for ninth in the league with 22.8 ppg. Three players made the all-star team, McFadden, Lawrence Culver, and TeJay Anderson.
With no notice, the Wildcats were removed from the IBL schedule in early 2006, having been replaced by the Lansing Capitals.

The Boston Bulldogs were a professional American football team that competed in the first American Football League in 1926. Owned by Robert McKirby, the Bulldogs lasted only six games into the AFL season, playing one home game in Braves Field and one in Fenway Park. Coached by player-coach Herb Treat, the majority of the team played their college football in New England, Pennsylvania, and New York. The offense led by Joe McGlone was inconsistent, scoring a total of 20 points in its existence… 17 of which were tallied in one game. Erwin Gehrke and Carl Etelman shared the kicking duties. Bill Cronin, a tailback, scored the team's only offensive touchdown.

The 2010 NCAA Division I Women's Lacrosse Championship was the 29th annual single-elimination tournament to determine the national champion of Division I NCAA women's college lacrosse. The first two rounds of the tournament were played at the home fields of higher-seeded teams from May 15–22, and the semifinal and championship rounds were played at Johnny Unitas Stadium in Towson, Maryland from May 28–30. All NCAA Division I women's lacrosse programs were eligible for this championship, and a total of 16 teams were invited to participate.
Thaddus Dewayn McFadden Jr. is an American-Georgian professional basketball player for UCAM Murcia of the Spanish Liga ACB. Standing at 1.88 m (6'2"), he plays at both guard positions. He played two years of JUCO college basketball at St. Clair County CC, and two years of Division II college basketball at Fairmont State, where he later went into the Fairmont State Hall of Fame. McFadden then entered the 2009 NBA draft, but he was not selected in the draft's two rounds. McFadden has won three Cypriot League championships.
