Mampikony[mampiˈkunʲ] is a city and commune in northern Madagascar. It belongs to the district of Mampikony, which is a part of Sofia Region. The population of the commune was estimated to be approximately 14,000 in 2001 commune census.

Mampikony is a district in northern Madagascar. It is a part of Sofia Region and borders the districts of Boriziny (Port-Bergé) in north, Marovoay and Ambatoboeny in west, Tsaratanana in south and Andilamena in east. The area is 4,611 km² (1,780 sq mi) and the population was estimated to be 84,375 in 2001.

Sofia is a region in northern Madagascar. It is named for the Sofia River. The region covers 50,100 km² and had a population of 1,247,037 in 2013. The administrative capital is Antsohihy.
