Manu is a French animated series, based on comic books by cartoonist Frank Margerin. It premiered in 1991 and was about a teenager 'Manu' and situations in his own life, with the rest of his family and his friend Robert. It used to air in the United Kingdom (Dubbed into English) on the now defunct Children's Channel between 1992 and the channel's closure in 1998.
It was produced by the French animation studio "Jingle", and the French and defunct network La Cinq.

Manu Chao is a French-born Spanish musician. He sings in French, Spanish, English, Italian, Arabic, Catalan, Galician, Portuguese, Greek and occasionally in other languages. Chao began his musical career in Paris, busking and playing with groups such as Hot Pants and Los Carayos, which combined a variety of languages and musical styles. With friends and his brother Antoine Chao, he founded the band Mano Negra in 1987, achieving considerable success, particularly in Europe. He became a solo artist after its breakup in 1995, and since then tours regularly with his live band, Radio Bemba.
Oz is an American television drama series set at a fictional men's prison created by Tom Fontana, who also wrote or co-wrote all of the series's 56 episodes. It was the first one-hour dramatic television series to be produced by the premium cable network HBO. Oz premiered on July 12, 1997 and ran for six seasons. The series finale aired February 23, 2003.

Emmanuel N'Djoké "Manu" Dibango was a Cameroonian musician and songwriter who played saxophone and vibraphone. He developed a musical style fusing jazz, funk, and traditional Cameroonian music. His father was a member of the Yabassi ethnic group, while his mother was a Duala. He was best known for his 1972 single "Soul Makossa". He died from COVID-19 on 24 March 2020.
