Manuel Musto (September 16, 1893) was an Argentinian impressionist painter. He was born in Rosario.
In 1914 Musto traveled to Florence, Italy. He returned to Argentina after hearing of his father's death. His style was influenced by the Italian school of the 19th century, including bucolic scenes of the countryside and flowers. The bulk of his work is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Fine Arts in Rosario. The house where he resided is home to the art school that honors his legacy and name.
Musto died at age 47 on September 12, 1940.

Michael Musto is an American journalist who has long been a prevalent presence in entertainment-related publications, as well as on websites and television shows. Musto is best known as a columnist for The Village Voice, where he wrote the La Dolce Musto column of gossip, nightlife, reviews, interviews, and political observations. In 2021, he started writing articles about nightlife, movies, theater, NYC, and LGBTQ politics for the revived Village Voice, which returned as a print publication, with accompanying website. He is the author of the books Downtown and Manhattan on the Rocks, as well as a compilation of selected columns published as La Dolce Musto: Writings By The World's Most Outrageous Columnist and a subsequent collection, Fork on the Left, Knife in the Back. He currently writes about pop cultural and sociopolitical issues for the Daily Beast and pens a monthly gossip column called "Read Now, Cry Later" for Queerty.com.

He was Honorary Consul of México in Rosario, professor of Fine Arts, publisher, columnist and contributor in newspapers and literary magazines in Latin America. R-E Montes i Bradley held Doctorates in the Law, Diplomacy, History and International Law. He was an active member of the International Institute of Ibero-American Literature and the International Association of Critics; Correspondent Member of the National Academy of Arts and Literature of Cuba and of the National Academy of History and Geography of Mexico; Honorary Member of the Mexican Academy of Genealogy and Heraldry ; member of the Sociedad Argentina de Escritores (SADE); a member of the Círculo de la Prensa and the Colegio de Abogados de la ciudad de Rosario; co-founded the Escuela de Bellas Artes de Rosario; member of the Asociación de Críticos de México. As publisher he was responsible for the Boletín de Cultura Intelectual, which he also directed; the art magazines Revista Paraná and Cuadernos del Litoral were also the result of his commitment to journalism in the arts. The last two publications were dedicated to promote the works of local artist, writers, poets in the region known as Paraná, Rosario de Santa Fe and vicinity.
