Marai Larasi is the Executive Director of Imkaan, a United Kingdom-based black and minority ethnic women's organization which works to prevent and respond to violence against marginalized European girls and women. [1] [2] She also co-chairs the End Violence Against Women Coalition, which became a registered charity with her as a co-chair on 31 March 2015. [3] [4] [5]

End Violence Against Women Coalition (EVAW) is a UK-based coalition of individuals and organisations which campaigns to end all forms of violence against women. It was founded in 2005 and became a registered charity 31 March 2015.

Larasi was ranked number 80 in the World Pride Power List 2013. [6] She attended the 75th Golden Globe Awards in 2018 as a guest of Emma Watson. [2] [7]
