Lausanne Hockey Club is an ice hockey team based in the city of Lausanne, Switzerland, which competes in the National League (NL). During the 2004–05 NHL lockout, the HC Lausanne signed National Hockey League players Martin St. Louis and Andy Roach.
Edward John "Teddy" Ouimet is a Canadian retired professional ice hockey goaltender. He played one game in the National Hockey League with the St. Louis Blues during the 1968–69 season and one game in the World Hockey Association with the New England Whalers during the 1974–75 season. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1968 to 1975, was spent in the minor leagues.
Mark Thomas Streit is a Swiss former professional ice hockey defenceman. He was formerly the captain of both the New York Islanders and the Swiss national team. Streit was one of the few swingmen in the NHL who could play both as a defenceman and as a forward. He was inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame in 2020.

Joel Savage is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. Savage was drafted in the first round, 13th overall, by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft. Savage played three NHL games, which came during the 1990–91 season with the Sabres. Savage played his junior hockey career with the Victoria Cougars of the Western Hockey League, compiling 143 points in 197 games.
Lonny W. Bohonos is a Canadian former professional ice hockey right winger. He played most notably for the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League and also appeared in several games for the Toronto Maple Leafs. In the later stages of his career, he played overseas in the Swiss Nationalliga A and Deutsche Eishockey Liga.
Corey Eugene Millen is an American former professional ice hockey center. He played in the National Hockey League between 1990 and 1997 with five teams. Internationally he played for the American national team at several tournaments, including the 1984 and 1988 Winter Olympics. In 2020, he was named the head coach of the St. Cloud Norsemen in the North American Hockey League.
Barron Patrick Richter is an American former professional ice hockey defenseman. Richter most recently played in the Nationalliga A league in Switzerland for EV Zug. He also played in the NHL with the New York Rangers, Boston Bruins, New York Islanders, and Montreal Canadiens. In 2015, Richter was inducted into the Madison Sports Hall of Fame.
Lance Nethery is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre and coach, and current executive. He played 41 games in the National Hockey League with the New York Rangers and Edmonton Oilers during the 1980–81 and 1981–82 seasons. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1979 to 1990, was split between the minor leagues and then in Europe, mainly in the Swiss Nationalliga A. After his playing career Nethrey became a coach and manager in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga, working in those roles between 1993 and 2019.
Paul Beraldo is a retired Italian-Canadian professional ice hockey centre. He was selected 139th overall in the 1986 NHL Entry Draft by the Boston Bruins. He played ten games for the Bruins during the 1987–88 and 1988–89 seasons.
Andrew Harry McKim is a Canadian former ice hockey centre. He played in the National Hockey League for the Boston Bruins and the Detroit Red Wings, playing a total of 38 regular season games.

The 1990 CCHA Men's Ice Hockey Tournament was the 19th CCHA Men's Ice Hockey Tournament. It was played between March 2 and March 10, 1990. First round games were played at campus sites, while 'final four' games were played at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan. By winning the tournament, Michigan State received the Central Collegiate Hockey Association's automatic bid to the 1990 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Tournament.
