Montenegro participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with the song "Zauvijek volim te" written by Grigor Koprov and Ognen Nedelkovski. The song was performed by Stefan Filipović. The Montenegrin broadcaster Radio i televizija Crne Gore (RTCG) organised the national final MontenegroSong 2008 in order to select the Montenegrin representative for the 2008 contest in Belgrade, Serbia. Six artists competed in the national final on 27 January 2008 where public televoting selected Stefan Filipović as the winner with 3,325 votes. His song, "Zauvijek volim te", was internally selected and presented to the public in a television special on 8 March 2008.

Predrag Filipović is a Serbian racewalker. He competed for Serbia and Montenegro at the 2004 Summer Olympics and finished 39th in the 20 kilometre walk with a time of 1:31:35. He represented Serbia at the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Olympics, and placed 41st and 48th in the 20 km walk in 2008 and 2012, respectively. In 2016, he finished 50th in the 50 km walk. His twin brother Nenad competed alongside at the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Olympics.

Filip Filipović is a Serbian professional water polo player widely considered to be one of the greatest players in the history of the sport. He was a member of the Serbia men's national water polo teams that won bronze medals at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics and gold medals in 2016 and 2020. He also held the world title in 2009 and 2015 and the European title in 2003, 2006, 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2018. He was named Most Valuable Player at the 2011 World Championships. He was also voted as the male water polo "World Player of the Year" in 2009, 2011, 2014 and 2021 by the FINA magazine. Aleksandar Kobac is a Serbian composer and arranger. In a fifteen year career, he wrote more than three thousand songs and over three hundred hits. In 2005 he participated with group Flamingosi and song "Crazy summer dance" on the Beovizija festival. In 2008, he participated with Stefan Filipovic and song "Forever love" in the Eurovision Song Contest. In 2009, he participated together with Marko Kon and Milan Nikolic with song "Shoe" on the Beovizija festival and in the same year in Moscow again in the Eurovision Song Contest.
