Markus Dieckmann (born 7 January 1976 in Bonn) is a retired professional beach volleyball player from Germany who represented his native country at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. There he ended up in ninth place in the overall-rankings.

Partnering with Jonas Reckermann he twice won the gold medal at the European Beach Volleyball Championships, in 2002 and 2004. His twin brother, Christoph Dieckmann, also played as a professional beach volleyball player on the international tour.

Michael Dodd is an American retired professional beach volleyball player who attended San Diego State University. With his partner Mike Whitmarsh, he won the silver medal in the men's inaugural beach volleyball tournament at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. Since winning silver in the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, he has worked the Olympic Games of 2000 as a beach analyst and 2004 as an indoor analyst for NBC. In 2008, Dodd coached AVP stars Jake Gibb and Sean Rosenthal in the Beijing Olympics. Dodd also captained Team USA to a win over Brazil's best players in the inaugural AVP World Challenge in 2009.

They were the first European duo to win the Olympic gold medal – male or female competition. In addition to that they also were the first European team ever to win a world championship title and are currently ranked 22nd on the FIVB World Tour.

Andreas Scheuerpflug is a German beach volleyball player. Scheuerpflug participated for Germany in both the 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympics. He partnered with Oliver Oetke in Sydney, and the pair failed to win a match. Scheuerpflug had more success in Athens, where he partnered with Christoph Dieckmann and won their pool, ultimately finishing in a tie for fifth place. In 2005 Scheuerpflug had a fight with his partner, Adam Braust. The fight was short-lived and ended about a month after it began. Professionally, Scheuerpflug won four career tournaments, all with Dieckmann.
