Matthias Benesch (born 1968) is a German bobsledder who competed in the late 1990s and early 2000s. He is best known for his third-place finish in the four-man event during the 2000-1 Bobsleigh World Cup championships.
Pierre Fritz Lueders is a Canadian Olympic, world and World Cup champion bobsledder who competed from 1990 to 2010. He piloted both two-man and four-man bobsleigh, retiring after the 2010 Winter Olympics. He was named to Canada's Sports Hall of Fame in 2012.
Sandis Prūsis is a Latvian bobsledder. Started training in 1980. Professional career from 1990 to 2003. Competing in three Winter Olympics, he earned his best finish in the two-man event at Nagano in 1998, he got fifth place. Prūsis's best Bobsleigh World Cup finish was second two times, all in the four-man event.
Ingo Appelt is an Austrian bobsledder who competed from the late 1980s to early 1992.
André Lange is a retired German bobsledder and the most successful bob pilot of all time. Competing at the 2002, 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics, he has won four gold and one silver medals. Lange originally started his sledding career as a luger, taking up bobsleigh in 1993.

Huber was a member of Centro Sportivo Carabinieri. He competed in four Winter Olympics and won two medals in the two-man event with one gold and one bronze.
Marcel Rohner is a Swiss bobsledder who competed in the 1990s. At the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, he won a silver medal in the four-man event with teammates Markus Nüssli, Markus Wasser and Beat Seitz.
Ekkehard Fasser is a Swiss bobsledder who competed in the 1980s. He won a gold medal in the four-man event with teammates Kurt Meier, Marcel Fässler and Werner Stocker at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary.

The International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF), originally known by the French name Fédération Internationale de Bobsleigh et de Tobogganing (FIBT), is the international sports federation for bobsleigh and skeleton. It acts as an umbrella organization for 14 national bobsleigh and skeleton associations as of 2007. It was founded on 23 November 1923 by the delegates of Great Britain, France, Switzerland, Canada and the United States at the meeting of their first International Congress in Paris, France. In June 2015, it announced a name change from FIBT to IBSF. The federation's headquarters are in Lausanne, Switzerland.
