Medio Creek is a river in Texas, that is a tributary of the Mission River.
Parker County is a county located in the U.S. state of Texas. As of the 2020 census, its population was 148,222. The county seat is Weatherford. The county was created in 1855 and organized the following year. It is named for Isaac Parker, a state legislator who introduced the bill that established the county in 1855. Parker later fought in the Texas Brigade.
The Washita River is a river in the states of Texas and Oklahoma in the United States. The river is 295 miles (475 km) long and terminates at its confluence with the Red River, which is now part of Lake Texoma on the Texas–Oklahoma border.
The Evans Ice Stream is a large ice stream draining from Ellsworth Land, between Cape Zumberge and Fowler Ice Rise, into the western part of the Ronne Ice Shelf. Mills Glacier flows adjacently into the ice stream from the southwest side. The feature was recorded on February 5, 1974, in Landsat imagery. It was named by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee for Stanley Evans, a British physicist who, starting in 1961, developed apparatus for radio echo sounding of icecaps and glaciers from aircraft; he carried out upper atmosphere research at Brunt Ice Shelf, 1956–57.
The Mission River is a river located in Texas, in the United States of America. It is formed by the confluence of Blanco and Medio creeks in central Refugio County and runs southeast, past Refugio, for 24 miles (39 km) to its mouth on Mission Bay, an inlet of Copano Bay. It traverses gently undulating coastal prairies surfaced by clay and loam and spotted by groves of hardwoods and pines. It is home to myriad waterfowl and native slough grasses.
The Victoria County Station was a proposed nuclear power plant, in Victoria County, 13.3 miles south of Victoria, Texas. The plant, consisting of two 1535 MWe General-Electric-Hitachi economic simplified boiling water reactors was applied for by the Exelon Nuclear Texas Holdings, LLC on September 2, 2008. The project was canceled in August 2012.

It begins 12 mi (19 km) southeast of Johnson City, Blanco County, Texas, and flows approximately 79 mi (127 km) eastward into the Colorado River, 2 mi (3.2 km) northwest of Garfield in Travis County, Texas. While areas surrounding the creek's origin in Blanco County are primarily rural, areas closer to its mouth in Travis County have more urban and industrial development. Passing near Dripping Springs, Driftwood, and Onion Creek, Onion Creek is the source of the waterfalls in McKinney Falls State Park. Onion Creek's watershed spans an area of 211 sq mi (550 km2).
Tehuacana Creek is a creek in Texas that is a tributary of the Brazos River. Tehuacana Creek rises three miles south of Penelope in southern Hill County and runs twenty-eight miles southwest to its mouth on the Brazos River, one mile east of Waco. It enters McLennan County five miles from Penelope. The surrounding flat to rolling terrain is surfaced by dark, commonly calcareous clays and clay and sandy loams that support mesquite, cacti, water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses. For most of the county's history, the area has been used as range and crop land.
Tunas Creek formerly known as Arroyo Escondido, is a stream tributary to the Pecos River, in Pecos County, Texas. Its source is at 30°52′53″N102°34′59″W on the southwestern side of Big Mesa.
The Nanedi Valles are a set of channels in a large valley in the Lunae Palus quadrangle of Mars, located at 4.9° N and 49.0° W. They are 508 km long and were named for the word for "planet" in Sesotho, the national language of Lesotho, Africa.
Clear Creek is a small river in Southeast Texas in the United States, which channels much of the run-off in southeast Harris County into Clear Lake and Galveston Bay. Much of the length of the stream forms the boundary between Harris County and Galveston County and all of the boundary with Brazoria County. Flask Glacier, is a gently-sloping glacier, 25 nautical miles long, flowing east from Bruce Plateau to enter Scar Inlet between Daggoo Peak and Spouter Peak in Graham Land, Antarctica. The lower reaches of this glacier were surveyed and photographed by the Falklands Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) in 1947. The entire glacier was photographed by the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition in 1955–56, and mapped by the FIDS in 1957. It was named by the UK Antarctic Place-names Committee after the third mate on the Pequod in Herman Melville's Moby-Dick; or, The White Whale.
Starbuck Glacier is a glacier 15 nautical miles (28 km) long, flowing east along the south side of Taridin Ridge and Padesh Ridge, and entering Scar Inlet immediately north of Mount Queequeg, on the east coast of Graham Land. Surveyed and partially photographed by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) in 1947. The entire glacier was photographed by the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition (FIDASE) in 1955–56, and mapped from these photos by the FIDS in 1957. Named by the United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) after the first mate on the Pequod in Herman Melville's Moby-Dick.

The community is situated on the floodplain of Big Creek, approximately one mile west of the Texas-Shannon county line. The old Nile Schoolhouse was about one mile east (upstream) and on the opposite side of the river across a stream ford.
