Michael Henry (born 7 April 1986 in Montserrat) is a Montserratian footballer who plays for Ideal SC in the Montserrat Championship and has also played for Montserrat. [1]

The Montserrat national football team represents Montserrat in Football. Football is the second most popular sport in Montserrat, after cricket. The team plays at the Blakes Estate Stadium. The Montserrat football team was formed in 1973, and has entered the World Cup qualifiers since the 2002 edition, being eliminated in the first round on each occasion.

Blakes Estate Stadium, is a soccer stadium in Montserrat, near the village of Look Out. The stadium holds 1,000. On 2 April 2002, the officially named MFA Inc. Complex was completed using FIFA funds.

The Montserrat Championship is the top association football division in Montserrat. It was created in 1974 but has been competed-for only sporadically since then, partially as a result of the Soufrière Hills eruption causing widespread devastation to the island in 1997. Between 2005 and 2015, no league was played in this country at all. The league restarted in 2016, but has not been played since 2018.
