Mikhail Chernov (born November 11, 1978) is a Russian former professional ice hockey defenceman who played in the Russian Superleague and the Kontinental Hockey League.
Chernov was drafted 103rd overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft, but spent three seasons playing in the American Hockey League for the Philadelphia Phantoms and never played in the National Hockey League. He returned to Russia in 2001, splitting the season with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl and Spartak Moscow. After a brief spell with Ak Bars Kazan, Chernov signed with Metallurg Novokuznetsk in 2003, where he spent two seasons. In 2005, he signed with SKA St. Petersburg in another two-year spell which saw him achieve a career-high 17 points during 2006–07. In 2007, Chernov joined Salavat Yulayev Ufa.
On July 23, 1999, during the offseason, Chernov and Francis Belanger were on a boating trip to Okanagan Lake in British Columbia with Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Dmitri Tertyshny when the latter suffered fatal injuries in a freak accident. [1]

Dmitri Anatolyevich Afanasenkov is a Russian former professional ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Philadelphia Flyers.
Pavel Kubina is a Czech former professional ice hockey defenceman who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Tampa Bay Lightning, Toronto Maple Leafs, Atlanta Thrashers and Philadelphia Flyers from 1998 to 2012.
Simon Gagné is a Canadian former professional ice hockey left winger. He played for the Philadelphia Flyers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Los Angeles Kings and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League (NHL). He spent the first ten seasons of his NHL career with the Flyers (1999–2010), followed by one season with Tampa Bay (2010–11) and two with Los Angeles (2011–13), winning the Stanley Cup in 2012, before returning to Philadelphia via trade for the end of the lockout-shortened 2012–13 season. After not playing in 2013–14, Gagné signed with Boston, briefly playing for them before retiring in 2015.
Ronald Frederick Bradley Tugnutt is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. Tugnutt played several seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Quebec Nordiques, Edmonton Oilers, Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, Montreal Canadiens, Ottawa Senators, Pittsburgh Penguins, Columbus Blue Jackets, and Dallas Stars. While a member of the Nordiques on March 21, 1991, Tugnutt set a modern-day NHL record for most saves in a regular-season game when he stopped 70 of 73 shots in a 3–3 tie with the Boston Bruins.
Marty Murray is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre who played eight seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Calgary Flames, Philadelphia Flyers, Carolina Hurricanes and Los Angeles Kings. He is currently the general manager and head coach of the Western Hockey League's Brandon Wheat Kings, and was formerly the general manager and head coach of the Sioux Falls Stampede.
Jason Matthew Smith is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman who played in over 1,000 regular season games in the National Hockey League (NHL) from 1993 to 2009. Smith played for the New Jersey Devils, Toronto Maple Leafs, Edmonton Oilers, Philadelphia Flyers and Ottawa Senators, having been originally selected by New Jersey in the first round, 18th overall, at the 1992 NHL Entry Draft. Smith served as team captain of both the Edmonton Oilers and Philadelphia Flyers, the former of which he led for five years and guided to the 2006 Stanley Cup Finals.

He died in 1999 during a boating accident.
Matt Ellison is a Canadian former professional ice hockey right winger.
