For centuries, Vojvodina was ruled by several European powers, but Vojvodina Serbs never assimilated into cultures of those countries. The club participated in the Basketball League of Serbia and Adriatic League. They played their home games in SPC Vojvodina. The club disbanded before the 2016–17 season due to the bad financial situation, when sponsor, Srbijagas, ceased their investments to the team. It was not a member of the Sport Society Vojvodina, but is a successor of the KK Beobanka and KK Novi Sad clubs.
