Ministry of Justice is the state government ministry of Kaduna State, it is concerned with judicial and prosecutorial activities within the state. [1] [2] [3] The Ministry of Justice control the courts system and the prosecuting offices. Aisha Dikko is the Attorney General. [4]

Responsibilities

The Ministry of Justice has the responsibilities on legislative initiatives and their presentation of Knesset and its committees., the ministry works with security department to make sure law and order is maintained to also controls administration of justice in the state.

He is a founding member of the ruling All Progressives Congress.

Barewa College is a college in Zaria, Kaduna State, northern Nigeria. Founded in 1921 by British Governor General Hugh Clifford, it was originally known as Katsina College. It switched its name to Kaduna College in 1938 and to Government College, Zaria in 1949 before settling on Barewa College. It is one of the largest boarding schools in Northern Nigeria and was the most-celebrated post-primary schools there up to the early 1960s. The school is known for the large number of elites from the region who attended and counts among its alumni include Tafawa Balewa who was Prime Minister of Nigeria from 1960 to 1966, four heads of state of Nigeria.

Her appointment as substantive chief Judge of Niger State by Governor Abubakar Sani Bello was confirmed by the Niger State House of Assembly in August 2016 after holding the office in acting capacity for three months. Aisha Dikko is the current attorney general and Commissioner of Justice for Ministry of Justice. She was sworn as attorney general and Commissioner of Justice of Kaduna State on 12 July 2019 under the governance of Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai.

Justice Rahila Hadea Cudjoe OFR is a retired Nigerian jurist and former Chief Judge of Kaduna State. She is the first female Chief judge in Kaduna State and served from 1996 to 2014. She is also first female Lawyer in North Western State as well as the first female Legal Draftsman in Kaduna State.
