Mirchi ka salan

Mirchi ka salan, or curried chilli peppers, is a popular chilli and peanut curry of Hyderabad, Telangana, India that usually accompanies Hyderabadi biryani. The dish contains green chilli peppers, peanuts, sesame seeds, dry coconut, cumin seeds, ginger and garlic paste, turmeric powder, bay leaf, and thick tamarind juice.

Mirchi is a 2013 Telugu action drama film written and directed by debutante Koratala Siva and produced by Prabhas's brother Pramod Uppalapati and V. Vamsi Krishna Reddy under UV Creations banner. The film stars Prabhas, Anushka Shetty and Richa Gangopadhyay in the lead roles while Sathyaraj, Nadhiya, Adithya Menon, Sampath Raj, and Brahmanandam feature in pivotal roles. The film was tentatively titled Vaaradhi, but was later renamed to Mirchi.

Mirchi Music Awards are presented annually by Radio Mirchi to honour both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in the Hindi language film music industry of India. The awards, given in seventeen different categories, were instituted to award the best of 2008. In 2010, the Southern edition of the awards – Mirchi Music Awards South was launched,to award the best of 2009. through which artists from the four South Indian film industries—Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam—are being honoured.
