Division 8-3A is a high school athletic conference under The Mississippi High School Athletics Association. It comprises teams in the Southeastern Region of the State of Mississippi. Numerous sports are played in this division, including football, baseball, basketball, softball, tennis, and golf. The teams of all MHSAA divisions can be found at the MHSAA web site.
District 8-3A will consist of the following schools for the 2009-2011 athletic years:
Collins High, Perry Central High, Seminary High, St. Patrick High, Sumrall High, and West Marion High.
Division 8-3A won the Mississippi Class 3A State Championship in 2003 (Greene Co.), 2004 (Purvis), 2005 (Purvis), 2008 (Sumrall) & 2009 (Sumrall).

Sumrall is a town in Lamar County, Mississippi. It is part of the Hattiesburg, Mississippi Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 1,421 at the 2010 census.
Thomas M. Cooley High School is located at the intersection of Hubbell Avenue and Chalfonte Street, on the northwest side of Detroit, Michigan. The three-story, Mediterranean Revival-style facility opened its doors on September 4, 1928.
Unity Christian High School is a private Christian school located in Hudsonville, Michigan. It is a member of Christian Schools International.
The Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) is a service organization for high school sports in Michigan and is headquartered in East Lansing. It is a member of the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS).
Kalamazoo Central High School is a public high school in Kalamazoo, Michigan serving students from ninth through twelfth grades. It was the first public high school in Michigan. It began operating in 1858 and graduated its first class of five men and three women in 1859. It moved to its current location in 1972. It is rated Class A by the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA). On May 4, 2010, the White House announced that Central High had won the first annual Race to the Top High School Commencement Challenge and that President Barack Obama would deliver the school’s 2010 commencement address.
Brighton High School is located in Brighton, which is part of Livingston County, Michigan, United States. The high school, along with several other schools in the district, is currently under renovations, including upgraded technology, renovated bathrooms, new football stadium, tennis courts, football practice field, and baseball diamond.
West Catholic High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan was opened in 1962. It is located within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Grand Rapids.
Marysville High School is a public high school in Marysville, Michigan. The school building was constructed in 2010. The previous school, which stood one block west, was in service from 1942 until its demolition in 2010.

Detroit Collegiate Preparatory Academy at Northwestern is a public high school in Detroit, Michigan; it replaced the previous Northwestern High School and is a part of Detroit Public Schools. The most recent enrollment figures for Northwestern indicate a student population of approximately 2,000.
Sacred Heart High School is a Roman Catholic parochial school in the historic district of downtown Hattiesburg, Mississippi where it is mostly surrounded by Victorian-era homes and other churches. It is the only High School in the Northern Deanery of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Biloxi.
Kevin Lee Grady, Jr. is a former American football running back. He completed his athletic eligibility for the Michigan Wolverines football team during the 2009 NCAA Division I FBS football season. He began his Michigan career as a tailback but was converted to fullback. He has also played for the Chicago Slaughter of the Indoor Football League.

Oxford High School (OHS) is a public high school in Oxford, Mississippi. It educates 1,210 students in grades nine through twelve. It is part of the Oxford School District.
Thomas Wilcher is a high school athletic coach and teacher who was previously a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I track and field national champion in the indoor 55 m hurdles and a three-time NCAA All-American in track and field for the University of Michigan. Wilcher was also a running back for the Michigan Wolverines football team from 1983–1986. In his redshirt senior year, he was a member of the Big Ten Conference football champion team as well as a 110 m hurdles Big Ten individual champion. Wilcher was a 9th round selection by the San Diego Chargers in the 1987 NFL Draft.
The Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) is the official sanctioning body of all public and some private junior high and high school academic and athletic competitions in the state of Mississippi. It is a non-profit organization and is headquartered in Clinton, Mississippi. The MHSAA is a member of the National Federation of State High School Associations.
Madison Central High School (MCHS) is a public high school on Highland Colony Parkway in Madison, Mississippi, United States. Madison Central is part of the Madison County School District. The principal is Sean Brewer. It is one of the four largest public high schools in the state.
Lowell High School is a public school located in Lowell, Michigan, United States.
The Big Rivers Conference of Illinois was a high school football-exclusive athletic conference that existed from the 1999 through the 2012 football season. Upon its dissolution, it comprised ten teams located in the northwest and north-central portions of the state. It was a member of the Illinois High School Association, and its sister conference for other sports was the Three Rivers Conference. As of the 2013-14 school year, in tandem with a conference expansion, Big Rivers has been reabsorbed into the Three Rivers Conference. This expansion negotiated full membership status for member schools in all Three Rivers Conference sports, thereby negating the need for a football conference carve-out.
Ryan Charles Van Bergen, sometimes (mis)spelled Ryan VanBergen, is a former American football defensive end. He had signed as an undrafted free agent with the Carolina Panthers following the 2012 NFL Draft but did not make the roster for the team. He played college football for the Michigan Wolverines football team. As a fifth-year senior for the 2011 Wolverines, he was a preseason Hendricks Award watchlist candidate, and after posting at least two tackles for a loss (TFL)s in each of his final three 2011 Big Ten season games, he was recognized as a postseason honorable mention All-Big Ten Conference performer. He started at defensive tackle for the 2009 Wolverines before switching to defensive end in 2010. In 2011, he started at end, as well as tackle, and led the team in quarterback sacks and tackles for a loss. He was awarded the 2007 Detroit Athletic Club Michigan High School Male Athlete of the Year for his performances in football, basketball, and track and field.
