Jaganmohini is a 2009 Indian Tamil-language historical horror film directed by N. K. Viswanathan. It is based on B. Vittalacharya's 1978 Telugu film of the same name which itself was a remake of the 1951 Kannada film Jaganmohini. The filmstars Raja, Namitha and Nila. It was partially reshot into Telugu with the same name and dubbed in Bengali as Mayabini Kanya. The film bombed at the box office.

Jaganmohini is a 1978 Telugu-language drama film produced and directed by B. Vittalacharya. The movie was a remake of the 1951 Kannada movie Jaganmohini. The film stars Narasimha Raju, Prabha and Jayamalini. The film was dubbed in Tamil. Jaganmohini became a major hit and even performed better than the films of big stars. The movie had the best visual effects according to Indian standards at that time.

Narasimha Raju or Narasimharaju is a Telugu film and television actor. He rose to the heights of stardom with his movies Needaleni Adadi (1974), Thoorpu Padamara (1976), Kanya-Kumari (1977), Idekkadi Nyayam (1977), and Jaganmohini (1978). He is considered the folk hero of the generation next to the likes of N. T. Rama Rao and Kanta Rao. He is also known by the moniker Andhra Kamal Haasan.

Harini is a former actress in the Kannada cinema. She was active during the 1950s and 1960s, retiring at the peak of her career. As of 2006 she lived in Bangalore.

Despite this, the film became a box office hit and had a 100-days run. B. Vittalacharya remade it in Telugu in 1978 as Jaganmohini, which also went on to be remade in Tamil in 1978. Further, it was remade again in Tamil in 2009 as Jaganmohini. The film dubbed into Telugu and released in 1953.
