Eugenio Monti was an Italian bobsledder and alpine skier. He is one of the most successful athletes in the history of this sport, with ten World championship medals and 6 Olympic medals including two golds. Monti, Sardinia Comune in Sardinia, Italy

Monti is a comune and small town of Gallura, northern Sardinia, Italy, in the province of Sassari. The town is surrounded by the cork oak forests and vineyards which form the twin bases of its economy. The vermentino grape, once known as "arratelau", has been cultivated here since the 14th century. In 1996 its Vermentino di Gallura wine was awarded DOCG status.

Luis Monti Argentine and Italian footballer

Luis Felipe Monti was an Italian Argentine footballer who played as a midfielder and an Olympian. Monti has the distinction of having played in two FIFA World Cup final matches with two different national teams. He played the first of these finals with his native Argentina in 1930, which was lost to Uruguay; and the second with Italy as one of their Oriundi in 1934, thanks to his Romagnol descent. This second time Monti was on the winning side in a 2–1 victory over Czechoslovakia.
