Mr. Kline and the Wizards of Time was an indie rock band from the Phoenix, Arizona area from 2003-2006 on Uncle Abbott Records.
Mr. Kline started in 2003 by Brandon Abbott and Jesse Mitchell after the breakup of The Hot Guy Band, the previous brainchild of Joe Ging and Brandon Abbott. After Hellogoodbye frontman, Forrest Kline, offered his last name to use for the band, the previously unnamed project became a band.
The band incorporated a new mix of drum machines simultaneously with live drums, keyboards and guitars into catchy, up-beat pop songs. Having written a few songs, the band quickly recorded with friend and producer, [Bob Hoag], who offered to join the band as its third member. Soon after recording a four-song EP consisting of "The Hungry Ghost", "The Antebellum", "The Education of Girl Town", and "The Music Heard and the Defeat/Victory at the Battle for Mars".
Soon after recording the EP, the band added members, Michael Porter and Andy Hiller. Mr Kline would play a handful of shows as a four-piece, as it was usually not the case that all five members would be present for any particular show, because of commitments to their other bands.
Jesse Mitchell left the band in 2004 and was replaced briefly by Jake Wiedmann and then Chad Staples. Ryan Lower joined the band in 2005 first as art director, for designing all of the art the band used for any merchandise and its album, and then as a member of the band.
In 2005-2006, Mr. Kline gradually worked on its only full-length album for [Uncle Abbott Records] aptly titled, "[This Albums Cursed or These Soft Pipes, Play On]". Having been convinced the album was in deed cursed, due to its incredibly torturous experience because of extenuating circumstances beyond the band's control, it was named so. However, nearing the end of recording the album, a very pleasing product was accompanied by the fact that member and producer, Bob Hoag, had learned he would be a father. This was explained on the back of the album. Thus, the band opted to add the alternative album title, "These Soft Pipes, Play On", along with alternative song titles.
Shortly after releasing the album and having gotten closure on the experience, the band dismantled in order to focus on other passions. Members, Michael Porter and Andy Hiller formed The Wizards of Time, while Bob Hoag focused on producing and his other bands, and other members pursued academia. In July 2007, members Brandon Abbott, Bob Hoag, and Ryan Lower recorded a four-song EP under the moniker, Gentlemen.
None of the members of Mr. Kline and the Wizards of Time were credited as having played any particular instrument. Their roles constantly overlapped as the needs of the band changed per song.

The Sleepy Jackson are an Australian alternative rock band formed in Perth, Western Australia. The band's name was inspired by a former drummer who was narcoleptic. The band revolves around the distinctive vocal style of multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Luke Steele. Stemming from a musical family, Luke's father Rick Steele is a local blues musician, and two of Luke's siblings are also musicians, with brother Jesse a former member of The Sleepy Jackson, and sister Katy, who fronts another Perth rock band, Little Birdy. While a series of acclaimed EPs brought The Sleepy Jackson to a broader musical attention of Australia, it was the release of their 2003 album Lovers and 2006 second album Personality – One Was a Spider, One Was a Bird that directed significant international focus upon the band.

Throwdown is an American heavy metal band from Orange County, California. Formed in 1997, the band has endured numerous lineup changes to the point where no original members remain. Throwdown has toured as part of Ozzfest, Sounds of the Underground, Hellfest, and Warped Tour, as well as with bands such as In Flames, Lamb of God, As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage, Korn and Cavalera Conspiracy. The songs "Forever" and "Burn" were staples on MTV2's Headbangers Ball and Revolver Magazine called them part of "The Future of Metal" after hearing the album Vendetta. Initially branded a hardcore punk band, albums like Venom and Tears and Deathless took a sharp turn towards metal, with critics likening the band's sound to that of Pantera and Sepultura. The band are straight edge.
Hellogoodbye is the eponymous debut EP from Hellogoodbye. It was released on August 17, 2004 by Drive-Thru Records. All the vocals and instruments were recorded solely by Forrest Kline, except for the lead vocals on track 4, which were performed by Jesse Kurvink.

Hellogoodbye is a pop rock band that was formed in Huntington Beach, California in 2001 by singer Forrest Kline. They were signed to Drive-Thru Records and released their first full-length album Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs! in 2006, having previously released the EP Hellogoodbye in 2004, and DVD OMG HGB DVD ROTFL in 2005. In 2010, the band released Would It Kill You? on their label Wasted Summer Records. The album was released in the United Kingdom and Europe by LAB Records on March 14, 2011. Hellogoodbye released their third album, Everything Is Debatable, on October 29, 2013, while touring as the opening act for Paramore's The Self-Titled Tour. Their fourth album, S'Only Natural, was released on October 5, 2018.

Seabird is an American alternative rock band from Independence, Kentucky. The band formed when Aaron Morgan, Micah Landers, and Aaron Hunt began playing songs with each other in 2004. The band soon added accordion player David Smith. After playing together for a little under a year both Landers and Smith left to pursue other interests. Soon after Chris Kubik joined the band to take the place of Landers on bass and Morgan began playing two keyboards to make up for the loss of the accordion. After adding Morgan's brother (Ryan) to play guitar, the band recorded their debut EP, Spread Your Broken Wings and Try, in one of the band members' rooms.
