He contested the 2024 general elections as a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf/Independent candidate from PK-14 Lower Dir-I. He secured 31200 votes. His runner-up was Sahib Zada Muhammad Yaqoob of Jamaat-e-Islami (Pakistan) who secured votes. [1] [2] [3]
