O'Connell started broadcasting with Limerick's Live 95FM and SPIN South West. [2]

She was announced as a presenter on Today FM in 2018, [8] following the withdrawal from public life of Al Porter. [9] She was replaced by former Ray Darcy Show producer Mairead Ronan in 2019. [10]

She co-hosted The 6 O'Clock Show with Ray Foley and then Martin King from 2017 to 2021. [11] [12]

Personal life

O'Connell went to school at Crescent College in Limerick. [2] As of 2023, O'Connell was engaged to a man not in the public eye. [5] O'Connell has spoken publicly of her wish not to have children. [13] [5]

He also hosts TV dating show Take Me Out on TV3. On Friday 12 October 2012, Foley and JP announced on the show that both of them would be transferring to Today FM's sister station 98FM to present the breakfast show. They both have expressed how difficult the decision was for them, due to their fondness of their workmates and friends in Today FM. In 2022, Foley returned to Today FM with an afternoon show from 2pm - 4:30pm.

Ronan Collins is an Irish broadcaster from Glasnevin, Dublin. Up until 23 December 2022, Collins held the prestige of maintaining one of the longest-running radio shows on Ireland’s national station, RTÉ Radio 1. At its peak, 250,000 listeners tuned in daily to The Ronan Collins Show between 12pm - 1pm, Monday - Friday.
