Murat & Jose are a Slovenehip hop duo of writers, producers and MC. Both were born in 1978 in Ljubljana, Slovenia where they still live. Together with Nikolovski they performed for some time under the name Nedotakljivi (EN: The Untouchables). Together they published one of their first releases on the first Slovene hip hop compilation 5'00" of Fame za narodov blagor (EN: 5'00" of Fame for the National Welfare).
Their first solo LP was V besedi je moč (EN:The power is in the word) from 2002. The album featured some contributions from other artists: Tomi M, singer of Slovene rock group Siddharta, appeared on socially conscious single "Od ljudi za ljudi" (EN: "From people for people"); Zagreb duo Bolesna brača on the song "Na izi" (EN: "On easy goin'"); Semo, a vocalist from Kočevje, featured on reggae-balkan-soul track "Če hočem" ("If I want") and "Dokler bova skupi" ("As long as we're together"). Nikolovski collaborated on "Neki ne štima" ("Something's wrong") and on "V besedi je moč". "Kdo je gengsta" ("Who's the Gangsta") features Kemal Trofi & Jozafat. Unusually for a Slovene hip-hop album, V besedi je moč does not include any swearing, regional, sexual, or between-band provocations, claims of illegal behaviour, or drug references.
Murat & Jose formed a live band in 2007 and are now performing under the name Murat & Jose Band. They recorded a fully live album with the band, entitled Tuki Not released in September 2008.[citation needed] Its first single "Nazaj" (Back) featured Slovene rock and soul singer Janez Bončina, who rose to fame in the mid seventies. The second single, Be your own, featured local soul singer Maya.

Eric B. & Rakim were an American hip hop duo formed on Long Island, New York, in 1986, composed of DJ Eric B. and rapper Rakim. They first received acclaim for their 1987 debut album Paid in Full, which featured versions of the popular singles "Eric B. Is President" and the title track. They followed with three successful albums: Follow the Leader (1988), Let the Rhythm Hit 'Em (1990), and Don't Sweat the Technique (1992).

Mint Condition has also been nominated for one Grammy and three Soul Train Awards. The group is credited with being one of the last major funk bands to chart before hip-hop and new jack swing dominated black music in the 1990s.

The song is an eclectic fusion of electronic music and heavy percussion, with politically fused hip hop lyrics that draw a connection between past revolutionaries and bohemians to present-day street artists. It was produced and mixed by Arthur Baker and John Robie. Mastering was by Herb Powers Jr..
Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas (IKV) is an Argentine musical duo from Buenos Aires, formed in 1991 and consisting of Dante Spinetta and Emmanuel Horvilleur. The duo split in 2001 to follow solo careers, but later performed together several times, and officially reunited in 2011. The duo took their name from a fictional character, the Soviet spy Illya Kuryakin in the hit 1960s TV show The Man from U.N.C.L.E., and the Colombian football player Carlos Valderrama. Often dubbed the "Balkan Trap Diva" by the media, she was born in Ljubljana and rose to prominence as the lead singer of the band Muff. She rose to popularity across the former Yugoslavia upon the release of her solo single "Slađana" in March 2018.
