Music and Company was a classical music program that aired from 6:00 am to 9:00 am on weekdays from CBC Radio 2. It was discontinued in September 2008.
Tom Allen was the host of Music and Company since 1998. He is an accomplished trombonist and writer. He hosted the CBC Radio 2 Weekender show for two years (1991-1992) and also hosted the Fresh Air show.
Every week Tom Allen hosted a "cage match". Tom chose two pieces of classical music and had a competition between the two. The piece with the most votes from listeners won.

KFI is a radio station in Los Angeles, California, owned and operated by iHeartMedia, Inc. It began operations in 1922 and became one of the first high-powered, clear-channel Class A stations. It was the first U.S. station west of Chicago to broadcast at 50,000 watts.

George Mark Paul Stroumboulopoulos is a Canadian media personality. He is one of Canada's most popular broadcasters and best known as formerly being a VJ for the Canadian music television channel MuchMusic. He was also the host and co-executive producer of the CBC Television talk show George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight from 2005 to 2014. From 2014 to 2016, Stroumboulopoulos worked for Rogers Media, anchoring Hockey Night in Canada and the NHL on Rogers. As of December 2019, he is a radio host on CBC Music. Most recently, he joined Apple Music Radio as host of a Monday to Thursday live show.
CIGM-FM is a Canadian radio station, which broadcasts in Sudbury, Ontario. The station airs a CHR/Top 40 format at 93.5 MHz on the FM dial with the branding Hot 93.5. The station is owned and operated by Stingray Group.
KKSF is a commercial radio station licensed to Oakland, California. The station is owned by iHeartMedia and serves the San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose media market. It operates as the Bay Area affiliate for the Black Information Network. The transmitter and twin tower array are located on Point Isabel in Richmond, on San Francisco Bay. KDIA utilizes one of KKSF's two towers during the day. KKSF operates at 20,000 watts during the day and 5,000 watts at night, using a directional antenna at all times. Because radio waves travel farther at night, KKSF must reduce its power after sunset to protect other stations on AM 910. KKSF's studios are located in San Francisco's SoMa district.

Established in 2007, Canada's Olympic Broadcast Media Consortium was a joint venture set up by Canadian media companies Bell Media and Rogers Media to produce the Canadian broadcasts of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, England, as well as the two corresponding Paralympic Games. Bell owned 80% of the joint venture, and Rogers owned 20%.
