My Way (also known as The Winners) is a 1972 South African drama film directed by Emil Nofal and Roy Sargeant and starring Joe Stewardson, Richard Loring, Marie Du Toit and Tony Jay. [1] It was followed by a sequel My Way II in 1977.

A Dry White Season is a 1989 American drama film directed by Euzhan Palcy, and starring Donald Sutherland, Jürgen Prochnow, Marlon Brando, Janet Suzman, Zakes Mokae and Susan Sarandon. It was written by Colin Welland and Palcy, based upon André Brink's novel A Dry White Season. Robert Bolt also contributed uncredited revisions of the screenplay. It is set in South Africa in 1976 and deals with the subject of apartheid. Brando was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.

Face Value is a 1983 anthology of collected journalism by South African journalist Jani Allan. The book is compiled from selections of Allan's successful gossip and popular culture column Just Jani that appeared in the Sunday Times. She was voted "the most admired person in South Africa." in a Gallup poll commissioned by the newspaper. The book was published by Longstreet publishers in Cape Town and released in South Africa in 1983.

Deon Stewardson was a British-South African actor best known for his role as Anders "Dup" Du Plessis in the ITV Drama series Wild at Heart. The seven series were popular in the United Kingdom with television viewing figures between 7.5 million and 10 million. The last series was filmed in 2011 with a Christmas Special. He worked alongside many well known actors including Hayley Mills. Stewardson and his partner Marianne would live in the Hartbeespoort Dam area of South Africa during the six months of filming. He had a passion for wildlife and his character known as "Dup" worked perfectly for him. As well as this role, he taken a number of minor roles in many different genres, including The Foster Gang. Stewardson has also starred in films, most notably Lethal Woman.
