The National-Democratic Association "Ukraine" (Ukrainian : Партія Національно-демократичне об'єднання Україна) is a political party in Ukraine registered on September 1, 2000. [1]

Ukrainian is an East Slavic language. It is the official state language of Ukraine, one of the three official languages in the unrecognized state of Transnistria, the other two being Romanian and Russian. Written Ukrainian uses a variant of the Cyrillic script.

A political party is an organized group of people, often with common views, who come together to contest elections and hold power in the government. The party agrees on some proposed policies and programmes, with a view to promoting the collective good or furthering their supporters' interests.

The party did not participate in the Ukrainian 2002 parliamentary elections. [1]

In the 2006 elections, the party failed as part of the electoral alliance Yuriy Karmazin Bloc to win parliamentary representation. [1]

An electoral alliance is an association of political parties or individuals that exists solely to stand in elections. Other similar terms are bipartisan electoral agreement, electoral pactelectoral agreement, electoral coalition or electoral bloc.

Yuriy Karmazin Bloc

The Yuriy Karmazin Bloc was an electoral alliance in Ukraine created in December 2005.

In the 2007 elections, the party failed again as part of the All-Ukrainian Community to win parliamentary representation. [1]

The All-Ukrainian Community is an electoral bloc in Ukraine. In the 30 September 2007 elections, the bloc failed to win parliamentary representation winning only 0,05% of the votes.

In the 2010 local elections National-Democratic Association "Ukraine" won a few seat in city councils in Western Ukraine. [2]

Western Ukraine geographical and historical region in the western territories of Ukraine

Western Ukraine or West Ukraine is a geographical and historical relative term used in reference to the western territories of Ukraine. It includes several actual historical regions such as Transcarpathia, Halychyna including Pokuttia, most of Volhynia, northern Bukovina as well as western Podolia. Less often it includes territories of eastern Volhynia, Podolia, and small portion of northern Bessarabia. Important cities are Buchach, Chernivtsi, Drohobych, Halych, Ivano-Frankivsk, Khotyn, Lutsk, Lviv, Mukacheve, Rivne, Ternopil, Uzhhorod and others. Western Ukraine is not an administrative category within Ukraine.

The party did not participate in the 2012 parliamentary elections. [3] And again did not participate in the 2014 Ukrainian parliamentary election. [4]
