The National Transfer Format (NTF) is a file format designed in 1988 specifically for the transfer of spatial information; it is administered by the British Standards Institution. It is now the standard transfer format for Ordnance Survey digital data. The present version (2.0) conforms to BS 7567.

COM Structured Storage is a technology developed by Microsoft as part of its Windows operating system for storing hierarchical data within a single file. Strictly speaking, the term structured storage refers to a set of COM interfaces that a conforming implementation must provide, and not to a specific implementation, nor to a specific file format. MPEG-H is a group of international standards under development by the ISO/IEC Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG). It has various "parts" – each of which can be considered a separate standard.
