National Youth Council (Philippines)

The aim of the National Youth Council (NYC) is to work with the Red Cross Youth Department to develop among the youth the spirit of humanitarianism and social service by giving them opportunities to participate in relevant Red Cross activities within the framework of the organization. The NYC is composed of nine (9) youth leaders, representing nine (9) different regional areas, elected during the National Youth Congress held every two years. [1]

Red-tagging in the Philippines is the malicious blacklisting of individuals or organizations critical or not fully supportive of the actions of a sitting government administration in the country. These individuals and organizations are "tagged" as either communist or terrorist or both, regardless of their actual political beliefs or affiliations. It is a type of incitement and has pernicious effects on its targets. Red-tagging may be performed by either security forces, public servants or shills.

Youth Reform Movement Philippines (YRMPH) is a non-profit sociopolitical organization composed of the youth sector registered within the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission, operating globally through a network of young Filipino university students and youth leaders with particular interest in Philippine political and sociocivic affairs. The organization was formerly known as Youth for Miriam, the youth arm of the 2016 presidential campaign of Miriam Defensor Santiago, initially partnering with People's Reform Party, the political party of Defensor Santiago.

The Student Christian Movement of the Philippines (SCMP) is a youth ecumenical national democratic mass organization in the Philippines. It aims to uphold students rights and participates in numerous local and worldwide peoples' advocacies. As with other SCMs around the world, SCMP is a member of the World Student Christian Federation. In the Philippines, it is an associate member of the National Council of Churches in the Philippines (NCCP) and Kalipunan ng Kristiyanong Kabataan sa Pilipinas (KKKP). It is also a member and a founding organization of Kabataan Partylist.
