Nee is a Kannada music band, founded by Siddeshwar, released their debut album on Nee Music on June, 2009 [2] The first ever Kannada Album by IT Professionals. [3] [4] [5] [6]

The duo from the band, Siddeshwar and Vikram has composed music for a Sandalwood film Jai Hind, produced by Major Srinivas Pujar. [1] [7] [8]

Early days

The thought process emanated early in the year 2001 with an objective of making music albums. Siddeshwar, the founder of Nee, went on a talent search to build a strong music team to make innovative songs. Sairam became a strong pillar of Nee since 2004 and composed several Hindi songs which include a Nee Album Hit score 'Pahadi'. [9]

Nee became a complete music troop in the year 2007 with Sumitra and Joshi joining in. [3] The Nee group performed live on 15 December 2008 on the sets of TV9 (National News Channel) that became a big booster for them to create a music album.

Motive

Nee's motive is to give a message to the society; one of the album’s songs showcases the four noble truths of life as enlightened by Gautama Buddha.

This album showcases all shades of life like happiness, sorrow, romance, excitement, enjoyment, love for nature so on and so forth. Nee is the first Kannada music album of its kind, which gratifies likes of all ages.

The band Nee's self-titled debut album was launched by the popular music director Raghu Dixit [2] on the band's new independent record label 'Nee Music'. [5]

Neha Kakkar Singh is an Indian playback singer. She is the younger sister of playback singers Tony Kakkar and Sonu Kakkar. She began performing at a very early age at religious events. In 2005, she participated in the second season of the singing reality show, Indian Idol. She made her Bollywood debut as a chorus singer in the film Meerabai Not Out. Pritam Chakraborty, also known mononymously as Pritam, is an Indian composer, instrumentalist, guitarist, music producer and singer from Kolkata, India. He debuted as a solo composer with the album Dhoom. Namo Bhootatma is a 2014 Indian Kannada horror comedy film directed by Murali in his debut. The film was a remake of the 2014 Tamil film Yaamirukka Bayamey, which itself was based on the Korean movie The Quiet Family. It stars Komal Kumar, Iswarya Menon, Anaswara Kumar, Gayathri Iyer, and Harish Raj in the lead roles. Telugu comedian Ali made his second Kannada movie with this film. It's also dubbed in Hindi with the same name. A sequel Namo Bhoothathma 2 released in 2023.
