New Irish Hymns is a series of Christian-themed albums created and produced by Keith Getty, Stuart Townend. Each album is performed by different singers:

Kristyn Getty performed on nos. 2-4; printings before her marriage to Keith Getty used her maiden name, Kristyn Lennox.

Matt Papa is an American contemporary Christian music singer, songwriter, hymn writer and worship leader. In 2009, his album Your Kingdom Come charted #46 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums and #33 on the Top Heatseekers chart. He released the EP "Church Songs," in October 2016. Papa has worked extensively with Keith & Kristyn Getty as well as singer & songwriter Matt Boswell on several releases.

Dónal O'Connor is an Irish multi-instrumentalist, producer and television presenter from Ravensdale, County Louth, Ireland. He is a member of Belfast-based Irish traditional groups Ulaid & At First Light.

Dr Noël Tredinnick FRSCM (born 9 March 1949) is a British composer, organist, orchestrator and conductor. He is notable for his many contributions to several hymnals, his regular appearances on the BBC's Songs of Praise, his weekly radio programme All Souls in Praise and daily radio programme All Souls In Praise Bitesize which broadcasts on Premier Christian Radio, and as the founder and Emeritus Conductor of All Souls Orchestra which performs annually at the Royal Albert Hall and throughout the UK under the banner of "Prom Praise" and "Prom Praise for Schools" (PP4S). Tredinnick's organ works have been performed by several respected performers including George Thalben-Ball, Nicolas Kynaston, and Gerard Brooks. He is currently a Professor of conducting, orchestration and academic studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and has recently been awarded the title of Emeritus Conductor of the All Souls Orchestra, in recognition of his pioneering legacy in directing Christian musical worship around the world. He continues to conduct the orchestra in tours of the UK and around the world, in partnership with his successor, Michael Andrews.

Brightest and Best Christian hymn

"Brightest and Best" is a Christian hymn written in 1811 by the Anglican bishop Reginald Heber to be sung at the feast of Epiphany. It appeared in Heber's widow's compilation of hymns entitled Hymns Written and Adapted to the Weekly Service of the Church Year in 1827. It can be sung to a number of tunes, including "Liebster Immanuel", "Morning Star" by James P. Harding, "Epiphany" by Joseph Thrupp, and "Star in the East" by William Walker. It appears in The Lutheran Hymnal, and appeared in the 1966 Methodist hymnal. It has been recorded by a number of artists, including Glen Campbell, Joanne Hogg and Kathy Mattea. The Kentucky traditional singer Jean Ritchie often sang this and told of her childhood memory of her grandmother sitting by the fire and singing it quietly to herself on Twelfth Night; the Library of Congress collected it from her in 1951.
