Bùi Xuân Phái was a Vietnamese painter. He is famous for the paintings of Hanoi Old Quarter. He also painted the actors and musicians of Vietnamese opera.
Paris By Night 89: In Korea is a Paris By Night program that was filmed at the Olympic Fencing Gymnasium at the Olympic Park in Seoul, South Korea on Sunday, July 1, 2007. It is Thúy Nga's first venture into Asia to tape a Paris By Night program. Thúy Nga chose to tape at South Korea, rather than any other country in Asia simply because of the popularity of Korean actors and singers to the Vietnamese community. The program is directed by a Korean director, Seounghyun Oh. It is Thúy Nga's fourth "Live" show.

Tô Ngọc Vân, also known as Tô Tử, was a Vietnamese painter. Several of his paintings are being displayed at the Vietnam National Museum of Fine Arts. He taught a resistance art class in the northern zone during the war with the French, and died as the result of injuries received at the Battle of Điện Biên Phủ. He was among the first recipients of the Ho Chi Minh Prize in 1996.

Nguyễn Văn Huyền was a Vietnamese lawyer and politician, who served as the last Vice President of South Vietnam under President Dương Văn Minh in 1975. He served as the first President of the South Vietnamese Senate from 1967 to 1973. He took the position of Vice President from new President Dương Văn Minh, who was trying to hold peace talks, but held the position for only 2 days before the fall of the Republic of Vietnam on April 30, 1975. In the last years of his life, he was invited to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the unified Socialist Republic of Vietnam as an independent and was elected as a member of its Central Committee's Presidium, where he died in office in 1995.
