The Perils of Penelope Pitstop is an American animated television series produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions that premiered on CBS on September 13, 1969. The show ran for one season with a total of 17 half-hour episodes, the last first-run episode airing on January 17, 1970. Repeats aired on CBS until September 4, 1971; and in syndication as Fun World of Hanna-Barbera from 1976 to 1982. It is a spin-off of Wacky Races, reprising the characters of Penelope Pitstop and the Ant Hill Mob.

Nicholas "Nick" Cotton is a fictional character from the British soap opera EastEnders played by John Altman on a semi-regular basis from the soap's debut episode on 19 February 1985. The character made numerous brief or more protracted stints until his onscreen death in February 2015; his death written to coincide with the 30th anniversary of EastEnders. Nick Cotton is notably responsible for the death of Reg Cox, who is discovered unconscious in the very first scene of the programme in 1985 and is revealed in the following episode to have died. Nick's death was scripted as somewhat of a reenactment to Reg's death, as the character dies in the same spot where Reg had died 30 years prior.
Ashley Cotton is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera EastEnders, the son of Zoe Cotton and Nick Cotton and the grandson of Dot Cotton. He is played by Rossi Higgins in 1993 and then by Frankie Fitzgerald from 2000–2001.

Charlie Cotton is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera EastEnders, played by Christopher Hancock. Charlie is a recurring character, introduced in March 1986 as the estranged husband of Dot Cotton. He appears in stints until producers made the decision to kill the character off-screen in 1991, to aid development of characters connected to him. June Brown, who plays Dot, was openly against the killing of Charlie. Charlie appears one last time, in the October 2000 spin-off, Return of Nick Cotton, as an apparition, warning his son Nick to change his ways.

The Unexpected was a fantasy-horror comics anthology series, a continuation of Tales of the Unexpected, published by DC Comics. The Unexpected ran 118 issues, from #105 to #222. As a result of the so-called DC Implosion of late 1978, beginning in 1979 The Unexpected absorbed the other DC horror titles House of Secrets, The Witching Hour, and Doorway to Nightmare into its pages. Jessie Buckley is an Irish actress and singer. Her career began in 2008 as a contestant on the BBC TV talent show I'd Do Anything in which she placed second. In the same year she appeared in the West End revival of Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music. After some other theatre roles she suspended her professional career to study at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, from which she graduated in 2013. In 2020, she was listed at number 38 on The Irish Times list of Ireland's greatest film actors.

Lego Marvel Super Heroes is a Lego-themed action-adventure video game developed by Traveller's Tales and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows, and published by Feral Interactive for OS X. The game features gameplay similar to other Lego titles, such as Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga and Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, alternating between various action-adventure sequences and puzzle solving scenarios. The handheld version of the game by TT Fusion was released under the title Lego Marvel Super Heroes: Universe in Peril for iOS, Android, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita.
