Joao Feliciano, Sr. (NicSon) (22 January 1946 - 24 february 2024) was a contemporary Brazilian painter mostly known for his particular skills in palette knife (oil on canvas) painting. Also, one of the few autodidact impressionists whose art has reached commercial and critic success in Brazil during his lifetime.

NGT is a Brazilian television network. He entertained a weekly column at news magazine IstoÉ, and in 2002 authored the book Copacabana Palace.

Each state, the Federal District and various Insular Regions & Cities competed for the title. Jéssica Carvalho of Piauí crowned her successor, Elís Miele Coelho of Espírito Santo at the end of the contest. Miele represented Brazil at Miss World 2019. The contest was held at the Dall'Onder Grand Hotel in Bento Gonçalves, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
Miss Brazil World 2012 was the 23rd edition of the Miss Brazil World pageant and 7th under MMB Productions & Events. The contest took place on April 2, 2012. Representatives from various cities all throughout Brazil competed for the Brazilian crown for Miss World. Juceila Bueno of Rio Grande do Sul crowned Mariana Notarângelo of Rio de Janeiro at the end of the contest. Notarângelo represented Brazil at Miss World 2012. The contest was held at the Rede Pampa Studios in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
