Nigel Parry is an internationally renowned photographer, recognized as one of the most respected figures in modern portraiture. His reputation is built on a 30-plus-year career capturing some of the most recognizable faces in the world. He began his career in London in 1988 and moved to New York City in 1994. His portraits of celebrities, cultural icons and everyday subjects have appeared in Vanity Fair, The New York Times Magazine, and Esquire, as well as in key art, movie posters, and advertising campaigns around the globe.
Parry’s work is recognized for its clarity, intimacy, and narrative depth. He has received awards from the European Magazine Awards, ASME Portrait Award, Hasselblad Masters, Communication Arts, Graphis, PDN, the Art Directors Club, International Photography Awards, and American Photography. His photographs are held in the permanent collection of the National Portrait Gallery.
