The 1.64-square-kilometre (410-acre) village has a population (2023) of 1,830 which gives the village a population density of 1,116 inhabitants per square kilometre (2,890/sq mi).
Sørkjosen (Norwegian), Reaššegeahči (Northern Sami), or Rässikäinen (Kven) is a village in Nordreisa Municipality in Troms county, Norway. The village is located along the shores of the Reisafjorden about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) northwest of the municipal center of Storslett. Sørkjosen has many industries including fishing, dairy production, and a sawmill.
Sørkjosen Airport is a regional airport located at the village of Sørkjosen in Nordreisa Municipality in Tromsk county, Norway, about 4.5 kilometres (2.8 mi) from the municipal center of Storslett. Owned and operated by the state-owned Avinor, it handled 15,198 passengers in 2014. The airport has a 880-meter (2,890 ft) runway and is served by Widerøe, which operates regional routes using the Dash 8-100 to Tromsø, and some communities and towns in Finnmark on public service obligation contracts. The airport opened in 1974 and was originally served using de Havilland Canada Twin Otter aircraft. Dash 8s were introduced in 1995 and two years later ownership was transferred from Nordreisa Municipality to the state.

Uløya (Norwegian) or Ulisuolu (Northern Sami) is an island in Troms county, Norway. The island is situated on the east side of the Lyngen fjord and it is divided between Skjervøy Municipality and Nordreisa Municipality. The island has an area of 78 km2 (30 sq mi), and the highest point is Blåtinden at 1,142 m (3,747 ft). The population (2001) on the Skjervøy part of the island is 29, and the population (2001) on the Nordreisa part is 65. The two sides of the island are not connected by road.

Lyngen (Norwegian), Ivguvuotna (Northern Sami), or Yykeänvuono (Kven) is a fjord in Troms county, Norway. The 82-kilometre (51 mi) long fjord is the longest fjord in Troms county and it is often used as the dividing line between "northern Troms" and "southern Troms". The fjord is located within the municipalities of Skjervøy, Nordreisa, Lyngen, Gáivuotna–Kåfjord, and Storfjord. It stretches from the village of Hatteng in Storfjord Municipality in the south all the way north to the islands of Skjervøy Municipality. The Lyngen Alps lie on the Lyngen Peninsula along the western shore of the fjord. The European route E06 highway runs along the eastern shore of the fjord. The Kåfjorden branches off of the main fjord on the east side, and the southernmost part of the fjord is also known as the Storfjorden.
Nordreisa Church is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Nordreisa Municipality in Troms county, Norway. It is located in the village of Storslett. It is one of the two churches for the Nordreisa parish which is part of the Nord-Troms prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Nord-Hålogaland. The white, wooden church was built in a long church style in 1856 using plans drawn up by the architect Christian Heinrich Grosch. The church seats about 350 people.
Rotsund Chapel is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Nordreisa Municipality in Troms county, Norway. It is located in the village of Rotsund. It is one of the two churches for the Nordreisa parish which is part of the Nord-Troms prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Nord-Hålogaland. The red, wooden church was built in a long church style in 1932. The building cost a total of 40,200 kr and it was designed by the Oslo architect Harald Sund. The church seats about 240 people.

The court serves the northern and central parts of Troms which includes cases from 13 municipalities. The court in Tromsø accepts cases from the municipalities of Balsfjord, Karlsøy, Kåfjord, Lyngen, Nordreisa, Skjervøy, Storfjord, and Tromsø. Hamnnes or Havnnes (Norwegian), Gárgu (Northern Sami), or Karkko (Kven) is a village in Nordreisa Municipality in Troms county, Norway. The village is located at the southern tip of the island of Uløya. The village has a very old trading post, and it is the northernmost preserved trading post in Norway that is still operational. The village has approximately fifty residents.
