The Northern Illinois Huskies women's gymnastics team represents Northern Illinois University (NIU) in DeKalb, Illinois. NIU gymnastics started competing in 1978 and competes in the Mid-American Conference (MAC). NIU gymnastics has sent one individual participant to the NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championships (1998), two teams to the NCAA Regional Championships (1991, 1995), 37 individual participants to the NCAA Regionals, and three individual participants to the AIAW Regionals. The Huskies currently compete at the NIU Convocation Center and are coached by Sam Morreale.

Utah Red Rocks

The Utah Utes women's gymnastics team, also known as the Red Rocks, represents the University of Utah and competes at the Division I level of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) as members of the Pac-12 Conference. Home meets are held in the Jon M. Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. As of the end of the 2016 season, the Red Rocks have won 10 national championships, including nine NCAA Gymnastics championships, and been runner-up nine times. The Red Rocks are the only team to have qualified for every NCAA Championships and have never finished lower than 10th. The team was coached from its inception by Greg Marsden until his retirement after the 2015 season. Tom Farden is the current head coach, after the retirement of Megan Marsden in 2019.

The Minnesota Golden Gophers represent the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities in women's gymnastics. They are coached by Jenny Hansen. The Gophers have 6 Big Ten Conference titles, most recently in 2021. In 1990 Marie Roethlisberger won the NCAA Championship in uneven bars, the Gophers' only NCAA champion to date.

The team is a member of the Mid-American Conference (MAC) West division, which is part of the NCAA Division I. NIU's first baseball team was fielded in 1900. The team plays its home games at Ralph McKinzie Field in DeKalb, Illinois. The Huskies are coached by Mike Kunigonis.

The MIC was established in 1991 for schools that sponsor women's gymnastics teams, but do not have women's gymnastics as a sponsored sport in their primary conferences. The NCAA championships in women's gymnastics is a non-divisional championship; meaning athletes or teams from any division can qualify.

Dayton Flyers womens basketball

The Dayton Flyers women's basketball team is the NCAA Division 1 basketball team that represents University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. The school's team currently competes in the Atlantic 10 Conference. They were recently coached by Jim Jabir, who resigned in 2016. The Flyers play their home games at University of Dayton Arena where the official capacity for basketball games is 13,435. In 2017 construction commenced on a $72 million upgrade to the arena.

Thomas Farden is an American college gymnastics coach. A native of Dayton, Minnesota, he began his career as the assistant coach of his alma mater the Southeast Missouri Redhawks women's program in 1999 until his promotion to head coach in 2003. After his departure in 2009, Farden briefly served as an assistant coach at the Arkansas Razorbacks for the 2010 season. However, in 2011, Farden became an assistant coach for the Utah Red Rocks team; a position he held until 2015 when, following the retirement of long-time leader Greg Marsden, he was made the co-head coach with Megan Marsden. After Marsden's retirement in 2019, Farden became the sole head coach of the program.

The Huskies are coached by Ryan Swan.

The Mid-American Conference Gymnastics Championships is the conference championship meet for women's gymnastics in the Mid-American Conference, a Division I member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). All conference members qualify for the championship meet, which is held in three rounds. The winner of the championship receives a regional berth to the NCAA Division I Women's Gymnastics Championships. The tournament began in 1981 and is rotated between the home arenas of the seven conference members. Through the 2019 championship, Central Michigan has won the most championships with 16, followed by Kent State with 12.

Northern Illinois Huskies wrestling

The Northern Illinois Huskies wrestling team represents Northern Illinois University (NIU) in DeKalb, Illinois. NIU wrestling started competing in 1931 and currently competes in the Mid-American Conference (MAC). NIU wrestling has produced two NCAA Champions, three NAIA Champions, and currently holds a 46-year streak (1972–present) of sending at least one NCAA qualifier to the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships. The Huskies are coached by Ryan Ludwig.

2019 Northern Illinois Huskies football team American college football season

The 2019 Northern Illinois Huskies football team represented Northern Illinois University during the 2019 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Huskies were led by first-year head coach Thomas Hammock and played their home games at Huskie Stadium in DeKalb, Illinois. They competed in the West Division of the Mid-American Conference (MAC).
