Nueve (Spanish TV channel)

Nueve was a private Spanish television channel owned by Mediaset España Comunicación. Their programming is aimed at more conventional women. Nueve officially began broadcasting its programming on January 21, 2013. The channel uses the song "Sweet About Me" by Gabriella Cilmi for its jingle and theme.

Nueve is a Mexican free-to-air television network owned by Televisa. The primary station and network namesake is Channel 9 of Mexico City, though the network has nationwide coverage on Televisa stations and some affiliates. Nueve offers a range of general entertainment programs.

It began its broadcasts on 18 February 2008, replacing Telecinco Sport. On 18 May 2009, Telecinco 2 changed its name to LaSiete. In early February 2014, it was confirmed that LaSiete would become a telenovela channel. On February 14, 2014, LaSiete officially became a new telenovelas channel and broadcast telenovelas until its closure in May.

La Nueve

The 9th Company of the Régiment de marche du Tchad, part of the 2nd Armored Division was nicknamed La Nueve. The company consisted of 160 men under French command, 146 of which were Spanish republicans, including many anarchists, as well as French soldiers. All had fought during the liberation of French North Africa, and later participated in the Liberation of France.
