Nyein Way is a poet from Myanmar. His interests include experimental, avant-garde and contemporary Western and European poetry as well as Asian and African poetry, contemporary philosophy and Buddhism. He uses and conceptualizes differences between all of these interests to show the staggering and different realities of gaps in the 21st century.
Way introduced conceptual poetry and poetics in Myanmar,[ citation needed ] through his "Myanmar Conceptual Poets Station (MCPS)" Facebook page.
Performance poetry is a broad term, encompassing a variety of styles and genres. In brief, it is poetry that is specifically composed for or during a performance before an audience. During the 1980s, the term came into popular usage to describe poetry written or composed for performance rather than print distribution, mostly open to improvisation.
Istanbul Contemporary Art Museum (iS.CaM) is an independent, artist run museum established in Istanbul in 1997. It is the oldest contemporary art museum in Istanbul. iS.CaM an alternative art organisation that develops, evolves and collaborates with other institutions and networks. One of its tenets is that art and education should go together hand in hand. In terms of the Internet it is pioneering, including the establishment of the Web Biennial, a Biennial entirely on the Internet. Ron Silliman is an American poet. He has written and edited over 30 books, and has had his poetry and criticism translated into 12 languages. He is often associated with language poetry. Between 1979 and 2004, Silliman wrote a single poem, The Alphabet. He has now begun writing a new poem, Universe, the first section of which appears to be called Revelator.

Todd Hearon is an American poet, songwriter, dramatist and fiction writer. He is the author of three collections of poems -- STRANGE LAND, NO OTHER GODS and CROWS IN EDEN -- a number of plays and essays, and a novella, DO GEESE SEE GOD. His first full-length studio album is BORDER RADIO, featuring thirteen original songs in the Americana and folk/folk-rock tradition. He lives in Exeter, New Hampshire and teaches literature and songwriting at Phillips Exeter Academy.
Luljeta Lleshanaku is an Albanian poet who is the recipient of the 2009 Crystal Vilenica award for European poets. She was educated in literature at the University of Tirana and was editor-in-chief of the weekly magazine Zëri i rinisë. She then worked for the literary newspaper Drita (Light). In 1996, she received the best book of the year award from the Eurorilindja Publishing House. In 1999, she took part in the International Writers Program at the University of Iowa. She is the author of four poetry collections, one volume of which has been translated into English: Fresco, available from New Directions. The writer, critic and editor Peter Constantine, in his introduction to Fresco, sums up her style in this way:

Micah Ballard is a poet born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on September 23, 1975. Since 1999 he has lived in San Francisco with his wife, poet Sunnylyn Thibodeaux. Under the imprints Auguste Press and Lew Gallery Editions they have printed over 30 books by various poets and artists.
James Byrne is a British poet and translator who edited The Wolf magazine from 2002 to 2017. He was born in Buckinghamshire in 1977. His most recent poetry collections include Everything Broken Up Dances, published by Tupelo Press in the United States and White Coins, both in 2015. Other published collections include Blood/Sugar by Arc Publications in 2009, and he has also published pamphlets, including SOAPBOXES and Myth of the Savage Tribes, Myth of Civilised Nations, a collaborative work with the poet Sandeep Parmar. For many years James has been consistently talked of as 'one of the leading poets of his generation', endorsed by The Times as one of the 'ten rising stars of British poetry' in April 2009. He lives in England after two years in New York City, where he received a Stein scholarship and an MFA from New York University. He was the poet in residence at Clare Hall, University of Cambridge, from 2011 to 2012 and is a senior lecturer at Edge Hill University, where he teaches poetry and poetics.

Than Nyein was a Burmese politician and physician. He was one of the founders of the National Democratic Force (NDF) party, after working for the National League for Democracy (NLD) since its inception in 1988.
Robert Gavin Hampson FEA FRSA is a British poet and academic. Hampson was born and raised in Liverpool, before studying in London and Toronto and finally settling in London. Hampson taught at Royal Holloway, University of London, from 1973, and was Professor of Modern Literature there from 2000. From 2016 to 2019, he was Distinguished Teaching and Research Fellow in the Department of English at Royal Holloway. He is currently Research Fellow at the Institute for English Studies, University of London; Emeritus Professor at Royal Holloway; and Visiting Professor at the University of Northumbria. He remains an active member of the Poetics Research Centre and the Centre for GeoHumanities at Royal Holloway. For his contributions to two distinct areas – contemporary innovative poetry and the international study of Joseph Conrad – he is, without a shadow of a doubt, a 'legend'.

Myo Myint Nyein is a journalist and political activist in Myanmar. He spent twelve years in prison for publishing a poem critical of the country's military rulers and for highlighting poor prison conditions in Myanmar.

He is the third son of Daw Nwe Nwe Yee and U Kyaw Nyein, a leading figure in Burma's independence movement and post-independence politics during the era of parliamentary democracy.
Taungdwin Shin Nyein Me was a Burmese poet during the Restored Toungoo dynasty, best known for introducing a kind of Burmese folk song called ainggyin.
Ainggyin is a Burmese form of poetry which is often referred as a kind of folk-song. Ainggyins are said to be the reflections of the rural culture of Burma. Ainggyin was first started in the First Kingdom of Ava and later developed in the Nyaungyan period and continued to the Konbaung period.
