The Oklahoma Bankers Association (OBA) is a trade association based in Oklahoma City, representing more than 220 member banks. [1] It has been running for over one hundred years. It assists its members with government relations, educational programs, and other products and services. Roger M. Beverage serves as the president and CEO.

A trade association, also known as an industry trade group, business association, sector association or industry body, is an organization founded and funded by businesses that operate in a specific industry. An industry trade association participates in public relations activities such as advertising, education, political donations, lobbying and publishing, but its focus is collaboration between companies. Associations may offer other services, such as producing conferences, networking or charitable events or offering classes or educational materials. Many associations are non-profit organizations governed by bylaws and directed by officers who are also members.

Osogbo is a city in Nigeria. It is the capital of Osun State. Osogbo city seats the Headquarters of both Osogbo Local Government Area and Olorunda Local Government Area. John F. Reif is a Justice of the Oklahoma Supreme Court. He was appointed by Governor of Oklahoma Brad Henry on October 22, 2007, filling a vacancy created by the retirement of former Justice Robert E. Lavender. Justice Reif has completed a two-year term as Chief Justice of the Oklahoma Supreme Court. He was replaced December 1, 2016, by Justice Douglas Combs.

The Banking Department is responsible for regulating Oklahoma's banking system, including state-chartered banks, credit unions, savings and loan associations, and trust companies, as well as [(money transmitters)] and money order companies. The department also handles consumer complaints involving state-regulated financial institutions.

Baseball Ontario, officially known as the Ontario Baseball Association (OBA), is the provincial governing body for baseball in Ontario. The Ontario Baseball Association was founded under the name "Ontario Baseball Amateur Association" which was organized at a meeting held in Hamilton at the Central YMCA on Saturday, May 4, 1918. In 1938, the name was changed to "Ontario Baseball Association", and in 1982, the organization was incorporated as "Ontario Baseball Association, Inc". Baseball Ontario currently has its headquarters in Cambridge, Ontario. In 2017, Baseball Ontario is celebrating 100 years of amateur baseball in the province which will culminate in the 2017 Baseball Ontario/Baseball Canada AGM in Hamilton in November.

Mona Salyer Lambird (1938–1999) was an Oklahoma lawyer who became the first woman president of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the first woman elected to the Board of Governors of the Oklahoma Bar Association. She was inducted into the Oklahoma Women's Hall of Fame in 1995.

Kenneth L. Buettner has a varied and somewhat unique background for an appellate court judge. After getting his basic legal training from the law school of Southern Methodist University (SMU) plus additional college training, he joined the United States Air Force Judge Advocate General Corps for four years, which exposed him to the many types of legal issues that confront servicemen and women. After completing his duties with the JAG, he performed general civil litigation with a major Oklahoma City law firm. Then, the Governor plucked him from the list of attorneys that had been approved as a potential Justice on the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals.
